Why go on a Vietnam trip? Of course, their food is something worth traveling for. Other than delicious pho noodle soup and crunchy bánh mì sandwiches, you can discover more of their street food. Try out banh xeo, a crispy crepe bulging with pork, shrimp, and bean sprouts, and banh knot, which is like a Vietnamese pancake.
Other than their mouthwatering dishes, they also have beautiful beaches and breathtaking mountains. After a day of swimming on the beach or hiking in the mountains, a large bowl of bun bo hue will fix you right up.
Additionally, accommodations and food in Vietnam are reasonably priced. Overnight stays in hostels can cost as low as 94,000 VND or around 309 INR, and street food can cost as low as 30,000 VND or 99 INR.
So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to start getting ready for your Vietnam trip!

How to prepare for your Vietnam trip

Before everything else, make sure you get all your documents ready. A Vietnam visa for Indians is easy to get—just have the approval letter beforehand to procure your Visa on arrival at the airport!
Just like India, Vietnam is generally warm and sunny, so be sure to bring comfortable and breezy clothes. Bring a light jacket and prepare a pair of sneakers as well, especially if you plan on taking hikes!
With everything set, make sure you take note of the exchange rate. Vietnam currency to INR is 1 VND to 0.0035 INR. Here’s a quick rundown: 100 VND is 0.33 INR, 1,000 VND is 3.3 INR, and 10,000 VND is 32.85 INR. When in Vietnam, be careful when you hand your cash as the 15,000 VND note looks similar to the 50,000 VND note!
