I recently had the pleasure of joining a Kyoto and Nara tour, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tour was well-organized, with a perfect balance between exploring historical sites and enjoying nature. The transportation was comfortable, the pace of the tour was just right, and we even had time to enjoy some delicious local food. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the heart of Japan’s history and natural beauty.

One of the most memorable highlights of our Kyoto trip! Guide repeated instructions many times so it’s very clear where to go and what to do. even though it’s a trip for Mandarin/Japanese speakers, the guide did speak some English so that was helpful too. You’ll start off with the train ride which was nice in itself, and then get back on the bus to head to the boat dock. The Boat Ride was a relaxed experience that ran a total of 90mins. The scenery was lovely. There are some rapid stretches but quite mild so older folks can enjoy. The boat has tarp to protect you from the occasional splashes (wettest is the front row), so a poncho is not necessary at all. You may bring your own snacks on the ride, but nearing the end of the ride, there’ll be a kiosk boat which’ll come up to you selling some hot snacks too. The timing for each segment of the itinerary was just enough and not too rushing. Highly recommended!

Fantastic way to spend the day on a relaxing train and river rapids boat ride. The bamboo first gave us a chance to cool off from the heat. Well worth the $s!

The guide did an amazing job to illustrate the history of Kyoto and Kyoto is like today. He tell the trip to our desires and adjusted the itinerary because of the very hot and humid weather. Well worth the money.

It was a great experience having the Maiko dancing in front you while enjoying the traditional Kaiseki cuisine. the tour guide was extremely attentive and informative. we had a great time!
