We had a lovely day with our guides, Cherry and Alex. They’re just adorable and amusing. The place may have been turned into a commercial market, but we were thrilled to see the way people used to go about their everyday business. It was also fascinating to see how fast and orderly the vendors cleared the space for the train to go through. Loved it.

Steve was an awesome tour guide giving us insights into the history and culture of Thailand as well as knowing when to leave time for silence and self-exploration. He also gave us very good advice on what and where to buy local goods and foods. In terms of the itinerary, I thought it was perfect and definitely worth the cost as it also comes with the long boat ride through the main floating market. Ending at Iconsiam was also a stroke of genius as they also had their own unique modern floating market. The only con I can think of are the lack of shocks in the back seats of the bus especially on the bumpy road on the bridge. Other than that A+++! It was the best daytrip we had during our stay in Bangkok and will definitely be remembered.
