Kyoto Imperial Palace, also known as Kyoto Gosho, is a historic landmark in Kyoto, Japan. It sits in the spacious Kyoto Imperial Palace Park, a big, beautiful park in the middle of the city. First of all, even though I arrived a little late, they welcomed me really, really kindly ㅜㅜ To be honest, I'm really shy, and it was my first time renting traditional clothing in a foreign country, so I was a little nervous. But thanks to them smiling and making me feel comfortable, I was able to relax a lot! It was fun because they even made small talk with me in easy words while I was putting on the clothes ㅎㅎ I paid 1,000 yen more and asked them to do a half-up hairstyle, and I was so satisfied because they did it so beautifully!! They even gave me a scarf for free, which was touching... 🥺 My friends who went with me also said that the staff were really kind and nice!! I think I'll come here again next time I wear a kimono ㅎㅎ

i recommend to go for this kimono rental place since it’s cheaper compared to others. however, note that you need to add on if you want preetier designs. you get what you paid but overall im happy with it and take the earlier slots for more options 😘

when you have only one day to see tge place my suggestion is to go through hopnon hop off bus. very well organised and bus comes on time
