Open-air Museum Gassho-zukuri Minka-en Folklore Park is an open-air museum that recreates the mountain village scenery of Shirakawa-go in the past. Including 9 buildings designated as important cultural properties by Gifu Prefecture, a total of 25 buildings are on display. These burdings were used for a variety of purposes, including private home, storehouse, rice mill house, horse stables, barns, shrine, and temple.

I took two people in their 60s with me and were satisfied with the itinerary. The weather was good that day! The tour guide introduces Okinawa in detail! The first two locations only last about 30 minutes, so if you go to the bathroom, you have to take a quick look, take a photo, and then leave! Fortunately, every place is really beautiful, and I’m satisfied with whatever I take! The aquarium has three hours to eat lunch on your own, so if you want to explore more, you can grab a snack! The American Village only lasts an hour, and there are so many shops to see. If you don’t want to go shopping, you can just sit on the beach and watch the sunset! The only bad thing about the itinerary was that the meeting point was marked in front of a BLUE SEAL ice cream shop, but that shop had closed and moved to another store without notifying us, so everyone was very unsure about finding the meeting place!

I loved the tour, the mountain view is amazing. The Guide, Eric, is perfect, he explained everything clearly and with much enthusiasm! Little Fuji view is amazing! I loved the Ice Cream, it is very light, and the texture is awsome.

We loved this tour! It was early September and we still got to see the flowers in bloom except for the lavenders. Regardless it was still beautiful and the places are not crowded! Kudos for the tour guide as well. Very warm and can speak English. We got back to Sapporo before sunset. Definitely a hassle-free tour.

Finding this tour is like finding a hidden gem, absolutely fun day trip overall. Assessable meet up point at the Hakata Station, where we met with our tour guide- ADA; who was absolutely amazing given her upbeat energy, firm directness and can be able to cater to many languages. Although one of the attractions at the safari part is have a chance to buy tickets for the jungle bus to feed animals, when we arrived the time slots for being able to go onto the jungle bus didn’t work out, wasn’t a deal breaker but still bum couldn’t experience it. Still was able to be in the van and drive through the safari course along with other parts of the zoo safari was nice, after we hit up some site seeing and also explored the town of Yufin which was breathe taking, stayed for 3 hours, wished we could’ve stayed longer! …. after arrived back to the train station just by 6pm to end the day tour.

The guide 许谨 is really doing her job and gave a lot of information during the trip. She's also really helpful during the trip. She shown us what place it's the best to take photos. Me and my family had a wonderful trip thanks to her. We felt grateful for the good weather as well.

Despite the long bus ride, the trip was worth it. The tour guide tried her best to keep us informed and provided interesting facts throughout the bus ride. The bus drivers did a great job maneuvering safely through the mountainous winding rode. There were many tours going on that morning but the check-in point was very organized and everything was clearly labeled to reduce any confusion you may have.

Was a fun tour. Got very lucky because the sky was cleas and I was able to see the peak of Mt. Fuji from different point of views. Our tour guide Kousei was very pleasant and made the tour informative. Got a little gift, thank you!
