Short but great tour of a sake brewery. Our super friendly guide has explained everything about sake and the reference of Takayama to it great and understandable.

Our guide was Mandarin speaking and he should have covered some housekeeping rules on the bus eg clear your trash, keep your volumes low if you need to chat so as not to disturb the rest. This was not covered and we had many passengers who spoke loudly throughout the whole day - very distracting and inconsiderate. Driver did not provide plastic bags for us to dispose of our trash and bus smelt of cigarette smoke. Small improvements to above could help to enhance a good passenger experience. Overall experience at Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is great and worth to visit .

Great way to see the old town of Takayama. guide was great and full of information and made the walk very enjoyable. the treats and Sake tasting were great. baking the rice cakes is definitely a must do so much fun. highly recommend.

Nice little tour, guide had fantastic knowledge of Sake brewing and Takayama in general being a local. We had some great samples and information on the specific Sake’s. nice short tour, so easy to fit into any itinerary.

There is plenty of time for free activities, and the tour guide’s explanations in the car are also very detailed. This itinerary is a good choice for tourists who do not have a driver’s license and cannot drive by themselves.

The guide was super nice and explained to us in a brewery how sake is made. We were able to try 7 different sakes.

Worth to visit both Takayama Old Town and Shiragawa-go. Try the Hida Beef at Takayama and Award winning pudding at 白川郷. Travelling took up half the time. Would be great to have more time at both places

It’s really great to solve troublesome traffic problems at a low price. The tour guide is also very enthusiastic and lively to introduce the best way to go and what delicious food to eat. I will consider this platform again in the future.
