Upper Antelope Canyon tours

Trip is worth your time, money and even the scorching summer heat! Great experience and even more so with our insighful/funny guides Marvin and Ana (from LAC) who can take great pictures! Thanks as well to our skillfull drivers Bruce and John who kept us safe and back to LV as scheduled.

Upper Antelope Canyon is extra amazing when you join the tour going in during the prime time where the sun shines into the canyon. Some amazing glance of the mountains and deserts during the car ride, be sure to stay awake!

The bus is comfortable and plenty of bottle of w ater. if you are vegetarian they will give you the option for veggie sandwhich for lunch. bruce our driver and Marvin the tourguide are both amazing. the upper antelope is amazing and the horsehoe bend is spectacular.

If you get on the bus at the Excalibur Hotel, it is just a shuttle bus. You will be dropped off at a centralized point to change buses. If your English is not good, you can get off the bus and ask the people who are correct in their names. Since there are not too many people in this itinerary, it is very comfortable overall. It is not a problem for one person to take two seats. There is only one driver in this itinerary and there is no tour guide. We will drive all the way to Utah before letting everyone sit in one room. Buy something to eat in a big supermarket. If you are worried about blood sugar problems, you can bring some snacks and mineral water. The bus provides bottled water and there are toilets at the back, so you don’t have to worry about going to the toilet!!! >> Going to Horseshoe Bay is more exciting because there is a local There is an hour time difference, so the driver will ask everyone to use a stopwatch to time for 1 hour and 25 minutes (if your English is not good, please pay close attention to the instructions). You need to get back to the car before the end of this time. He sternly stated that he will not wait for latecomers; from the parking lot It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Horseshoe Bay. Take time to take photos and calculate your return time. It is recommended not to wear white shoes. The soil there is so red that your white shoes will be stained with earth color! After successfully boarding the bus, a local chicken burger lunch will be served. You will start eating on the bus and you will arrive at X Antelope Canyon in no time. >>You are not allowed to bring any bags in Antelope Canyon. It is recommended to wear a jacket or pants with more pockets. You can wear important items on your body. The driver will suggest that you also take your passport with you, because someone once left it in the car and it disappeared; arrive at X Antelope Canyon will be waiting for the jeep at the connection point. If the same group of people goes there, they need to come back with the same group of people. One car can only seat about 8-9 people, so the bus driver will allocate the team to each car. The jeep is very shaking and you will get motion sickness. Note that you will arrive at Antelope Canyon in 15 minutes. After arriving at Antelope Canyon, the local tour guide will start to divide the teams again. Then you have to walk up a long slope. The slope is full of fine sand and it is very difficult to walk. You can take pictures of the rest. The local tour guide is very friendly. If you are good at In English, you can try asking him if he has any local legends about Antelope Canyon. It’s very interesting, and it’s a bit of a scary story, haha! It was a challenge to leave. You had to climb up a very steep slope. There were stairs next to it, but you were still out of breath. You took the time to tip the local tour guide (I gave 5$), but many Americans who were traveling with me didn’t. I don’t know if it was because of it. Necessary; you will see a jeep after going up, and you have to wait for all the team members to get on the bus before going back to the bus parking lot; there are no souvenirs to buy locally, there is a small car selling X's clothes and stickers; then it is time to set off back to Las Vegas In Vegas, we will stop at a supermarket in Utah on the way to buy dinner; it is already around 8pm when we arrive at the Excalibur Hotel! Remember to wear headphones and some American country music to experience this western road trip!

I highly recommend this trip! Although Antelope Canyon is closed until the end of this year, the Peek-A-Boo Canyon that local supplier MAXTOUR took us to is also beautiful! The tour guide Adam carefully reminded us that there is still driving time for the next itinerary, and there will be a rest stop every one and a half hours (and the rest rest toilets are very clean and many rooms do not need to queue 🤣) breakfast is provided on the car ( Muffins, bananas) There are also many kinds of snacks, drinks, water, all of which are unlimited supply, you will not be hungry at all! After arriving at Peek-A-Boo Canyon, the team leader Laura took us into the canyon. Not only did they drive us through the sandy land with four-wheel drive, but they also found fossils and traces left by the Hopi to show us (usually I would never notice when I went there) After coming back from the canyon, Adam has already prepared the lunch burger~ I arrived at Horseshoe Bay and Bauer Lake in the afternoon. The tour guides were very careful to tell us where fewer people can take better photos, and they will also help take pictures and flip other travelers. Let us refer to the beautiful photos 😂 is really great! The tour guide Adam has been in China for six years and his Chinese is very good. Those who don't speak English can participate with confidence! On the road, if you don’t want to eat what is provided in the car, you can also buy other fast food at the rest stop. The whole journey time is just right, not too rushed or too boring, and the return journey ends just before sunset. The relationship between the epidemic and the tourism industry is not booming now. I am very lucky to meet a Chinese tour guide. Be aware that you will need to call the tour guide the day before about the next day’s meal and assembly time, so you need to make sure if there is a way to contact. Stopped at the gas station for resupply. I thought I would be hungry. Basically, I don’t have to worry about the destination. I definitely have to go in this life, but I’m tired from traveling and traveling. I must rest properly.

13.06.24 - It was a great experience to visit the Lower Antelope and Horshoe. Big thank you to Marvin our tour guide, Carlos and John the 1st driver and 2nd driver. They are strict to their rules which is ok because we’re all paid for our trip. They are funny guys and the trip was not boring because of them.
