The QR code is easily used in the turnstile. you have to get there an hour before to find the car and seat, and spare time to buy or eat something before you get on the Shinkansen. You can place 1 small luggage overhead and 1 big luggage in front of you if you have average height. We paid for oversized luggage but did not get one. We just took a chance placing luggages at the last seat IF the person there are available space. Toilet inside is clean too.

Purchased Shinkansen tickets for a last minute getaway to Kyoto during the New Year holidays. Klook made the process simple. easy to navigate via the app and select my desired trains and seats. One of the best aspects of the purchase is the ability to use a US credit card with no problems. It’s hit or miss, mostly miss, with Japanese sites. Klook saved me a trip to the train station.

is the best excursion idea as you can visit all in one day. very beautiful all. take cash. loads of breaks so we could buy things. I wanted to do all alone but is so confusing the transport that I rather do it with a guide and all arranged so you don’t need to worry about getting there. i can recommend this 100%. Paul our guide was amazing

Entry via QR code should be easy but because I had Suica card added into my phone it messed up the scanning so had to proceed to the customer service to print out paper tickets. Able to select time slots and preferred seats but subjected to availability.

Nice and easy to use. When you arrive at the station make sure you go to the ticket line, not the suica line. In the ticket line you will need to scan the QR code and tap your suica card. I recommend spending the extra money for reserved seats so you have places to put your luggage. When you leave you will need to scan your QR code again. Also recommend buying a bento or some snacks in the station before you board.

BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE!!!! We assumed we could go the same day and just waut the hour or so. We went and the trains got delayed so it was insane. We needed bag space and all seats were reserved and in the end got lucky in getting a train ticket & room for our bags. It was a nightmare but at least we got to our destination. Buying in advance here will say you our struggle.

Nice and easy to use. When you first go the station you will need to go to the line for the QR codes. Make sure you have also your suica card as well to scan along with the QR code. For the station you will see the correct signs that align with your car and seats. When you leave the station you will scan the QR code again.

wonderful experience overall. seats are spacious with plenty legroom space, I even kept my luggage there without any issues! I opted for the Mt Fuji side and clicked some amazing pictures, makes paying a little extra money worth it!

We bought our ticket for the Shinkansen from Kyoto to Nagoya at the very last minute because we weren't exactly sure when we would be done touring around Kyoto. It was so easy to buy the ticket on line and use the QR Code to get through. However, we couldn't take a screenshot of the QR code bc it didn't pass at the station. We had to use the original copies sent to us. It was a breeze using Klook to purchase our tickets. We got the reserved seating. The line of the Shinkansen ticket machine was very long at Kyoto. You can avoid the lines and purchase your tickets on Klook!
