Day 1
1. Lunch at Wattana Panich
Kick off your Bangkok adventure with a steaming bowl of Thai beef noodles at Wattana Panich. Known for their slow-braised beef with various herbs and spices, the stall has been serving their signature dish for over 40 years already - just look for their famous bubbling cauldron of beef stewing out front! Stewed for 8 hours daily, their aromatic, tender beef is served with your choice of noodles or rice, or you could even try out their lamb noodle soup as an alternative.
Not a fan of beef noodles? Fret not - we also recommend checking out Nhong Rim Klong, located just a short walk away from Wattana Panich, where they serve their signature stir fried crab dishes!
- Address: 336 338 Ekkamai Road, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
2. Shopping at Siam Area
With its fantastic selection of huge, modern shopping malls, Bangkok is easily one of our favourite destinations to shop at. Head over to Siam Area, Bangkok's very own shopping district, and shop to your heart's desire at any of these malls that are located within the area:
- Siam Paragon
- MBK Center
- Platinum Fashion Mall
- EmQuartier
- Icon Siam
3. Dinner at Jeh O Chula
Take a break from your retail therapy session in Siam Area with a delicious dinner at Jeh O Chula, one of Bangkok's favourite spots for evening meals and late night suppers. This humble eatery is well-loved by both locals and tourists for serving the best tom yum in the city, so it is certainly a must-try, along with their street food snacks and other seafood dishes.
- Address: 113 Khwaeng Rong Muang, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
4. Explore the Chatuchak Weekend Market
Resume your shopping adventure at night! If there's one thing in Bangkok you shouldn't miss out on, it would be exploring the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Spanning across 35 acres and home to over 15,000 stalls, this sprawling market is the world's largest and most diverse outdoor marketplace where you can literally find all sorts of goods. From clothing and cosmetics, to food and souvenirs, get ready for the most exhilarating shopping experience ever!

Save your stomach for breakfast here as you wade your way through a maze of vendors, shopping and eating to your heart's desire – from unique local handicrafts to boat noodles and agricultural products coming directly from the vendors' farms!
