Located in Selangor (close to Batu Caves in Selayang), 99 Wonderland Park is a 25-acre, open-concept urban style wildlife park with over 99 species of animals and 34 attractions all under one roof.
From rare animals housed within a beautiful landscape to a musical dancing fountain, romantic LED lights, and a huge lake that you can paddle boat across, there's lots to see and do here whether you're visiting with friends, family, or on a date. 99 Wonderland Park's tickets are split into prices for the morning and evening session. The park has very different vibes in the day and at night - it's less crowded in the day but more romantic at night when the LED lights come on ✨
If you wish to avoid the crowds, we'd recommend heading over in the afternoon, but do note that it can get quite sunny as some areas are unshaded, so be sure to bring along a cap or umbrella!

7 fun attractions and things to do at 99 Wonderland Park
1. Befriend a wide variety of animals on Wild Island
99 Wonderland Park is most known for being home to a wide variety of animals, from cheeky meerkats to gentle deer, otters, monster fish, tapirs, sun bears, saltwater crocodiles, ostriches, iguanas, and more. Have fun going on a 'treasure hunt' in search of your favourite animals, but make sure you grab a map at the entrance, it's going to be very helpful as the park is pretty huge.
Our favourite section is definitely the petting and feeding zone where you can get up-close and personal with adorable animals such as rabbits, raccoons, and cute deer. Make sure to also visit the Malay Tapir exhibit - it's the first of its kind in the world whereby the tapirs live in a jacuzzi pool! 😯
2. Marvel at the majestic T-rex at the 99 Dinosaur Park
Standing at a height of 3.5 meters, the pair of Tyrannosauruses are the majestic star attractions of 99 Wonderland Park. The 99 Dinosaur Park in 99 Wonderland Park is hugely popular amongst kids and gives off major Jurassic Park vibes! The area serves as a pretty cool backdrop for selfies and photos.
3. Check out the romantic Magical Bridge
Lined with lovelocks and measuring 158 metres in length, the Magical Bridge is a must-visit if you're heading to 99 Wonderland Park with your significant other. This romantic section of the park is illuminated with beautiful lights upon nightfall, providing a romantic atmosphere for lovebirds. You can purchase a love lock and lock your blessings here if that's your sort of thing!
4. Hop on a river cruise or paddle boat ride
The centrepiece of 99 Wonderland Park is the huge lake nestled in the middle, with all the attractions basically lined all around it. A must-do when you're here is to hop on a river cruise to soak in the atmosphere in a calm, cooling breeze. You can also choose to ride a paddle boat if you're up to exercise your legs a lil. 😉
5. Catch a mesmerizing fountain show
There are two colourful water fountains located in the middle of the lake, offering a mesmerizing musical show of light and sound on selected nights. Check the official website of 99 Wonderland Park for the show timings so you don't miss out on it!
6. Take photos for the 'gram at the many photo spots
Snap some pics for the 'gram all over the park! 99 Wonderland Park is filled with many photo spots, from an LED Eiffel Tower that stands at a height of 10 metres to an illuminated windmill, an 'I Love KL' sculpture, a 12 Zodiac Walkway (lined with animal sculptures from the Chinese zodiac), and a Panda street (one of our favourite spots!). 🐼 There's a very different atmosphere whether you head over in the daylight or at night when the lights come on.
7. Make a wish at the Golden Waterfall
Measuring over 100 metres in length, the Golden Waterfall is located close to the Malayan tapir exhibit, at the far end of the 99 Wonderland Park. Make a wish for good luck or fortune when you come across it!
