9. Enjoy Beachside Activities at Batu Ferringhi
Batu Ferringhi consists of a long stretch of sandy beach and is one of Penang's most popular destinations! It's all sun and fun in the day time - run around in the soft sand, fly some kites, build sandcastles, or try out the range of water sports available here from jet-skiing to parasailing, banana boat, and more!
The beach strip is lined with bars and restaurants that come to life once the night falls. 10. Go Hiking at Bukit Hijau
Located opposite the peaks of the greater Penang Hill, Bukit Hijau is a lesser-known spot frequented by local hikers. Hike up the Cangkat Tembaga Hiking Trail, a journey of roughly 4.2 kilometres, and be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Farlim neighbourhood and Penang Hill. There are several vantage points to view the island from the top and we'd recommend to come early in the morning to catch beautiful sights of the sunrise.
The 50-minute hike is rated to be suitable for even beginner hikers. The trail is kept clean and clear thanks to regular maintenance from the local community, and is dotted with beautiful wild flowers as well as the stunning Bukit Hijau waterfall.

11. Visit the Colourful Pulau Jerejak
