1. Vivaldi Park Ski World (비발디 파크 스키월드)
With its close proximity to Seoul (only a 1.5-hour drive away from the city) and a comprehensive range of facilities, Vivaldi Park has become one of the most popular skiing spots for people of all ages outside Seoul. The park has 12 slopes in total, with something different to offer for all levels of skiers (2 for beginners, 5 for intermediate, 4 for advanced and 1 for the experts).
There also has something special in store for kids! The former sledge area has been transformed into “Snowy Land”, a theme part with 4 unique slopes for snow sledges and other winter attractions and rides where children can enjoy the fun of a snowy winter holiday.
If you are looking for an Instagrammable spot at Vivaldi Park, be sure to check out Snowy Land at night. The theme park comes to life at night as rows of light illuminate the soft, crunchy snow under the starry night.
Vivaldi Park was also featured in the acclaimed South Korean SBS Drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea”, starring jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho. You can have fun recreating some of the memorable moments from the drama! For those who want to avoid the crowd, Vivaldi Park also offers midnight ski service, making it particularly popular for young people, university students and budget travellers.
Families or even groups of friends looking to spend a little more time hitting the slopes can also consider 2D1N Vivaldi Park ski/snowboard packages. This is great if you don't want to pack all that skiing into a single day, and want to enjoy learning the sport at your own pace. The package includes accommodation as well as all your ski/snowboard equipment rental, and round trip transfers too.
