ESCAPE Penang Unveils New Star Attraction: The Longest Zip Coaster In The World!

ESCAPE Theme Park in Penang has always been known as a proud home to the world's longest tube water slide (that spans an incredible length of 1,111m!), but that's not the only award-winning attraction in the theme park anymore. On May 12, ESCAPE Penang unveiled yet another exciting Guinness World Record star attraction - the longest zip coaster in the world.

Stretching a length of over 1.1km, the adrenaline-pumping zip coaster in ESCAPE Penang combines elements of a roller coaster and a zip line! Once you've put on your helmet and harness, you'll be set for a thrilling journey of whizzing through lush greenery while suspended above tree tops.

The 6-minute zip coaster ride will bring visitors through dramatic climbs, thrilling dips, and exhilarating turns, and is likely to be as close as you can be to what Tarzan feels as he dangles from tree to tree. 🌳

It's kinda hard to believe that the new project was completed during the pandemic - in fact, it was shared that the idea was conceived during the nationwide lockdown back in 2020. Best part? The zip coaster (as well as the longest tube water slide) is included in the all-in-one general admission ticket to ESCAPE Penang, bookable at 11% off on Klook! ESCAPE Theme Park Penang was inspired by the founder's mischievous childhood in his kampong, where he spent most of his days climbing trees, diving into the pond from a treetop, and racing downhill with his friends on makeshift bicycles.
