The Picturesque Annual Hot Air Balloon Fiesta In Putrajaya Is Back Again This March!

An annual event that never fails to deck the sky with vibrant hues, the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2020 will be taking place this year on 19 to 22 March. Held during the school holidays, make sure to head to Precinct 2 in Putrajaya to take part in the festivities. We hear that they’re set to light the sky this year with more balloons than ever before! 

1. Launching Field Access  

Get up close and personal with the balloons with access to the balloon zone! You can watch the pilots set up, inflate, and learn about the handling a hot air balloon.  Morning session - Daily between 7am to 8am Evening session - Thursday & Friday between 6pm to 7pm Free entry for kids below 4 years old. 

Step into the basket and experience being lifted off the ground with a tethered balloon ride. You’ll float 60ft above the ground for 5 to 7 minutes. Each basket slot can carry 2 to 4 passengers with a cumulative weight not exceeding 240kg. Only participants age 7+ or with a height of 120cm are allowed to join the activity Morning session - 7am to 10am Evening session - 6pm to 9pm

Join the Night Glow Show for a view and experience unlike any other. Witness the balloons getting inflated and lit up following the beat of the music against the night sky. Stay later for the fireworks display! This weekend night special is not to be missed. Saturday & Sunday - Lanching Field Access, 5:30pm to 8:30pm | Night Glow Show & Fireworks display, 8:30pm to 9:30pm Free entry for kids below 4 years old.

Outdoor activities   

Aside from the hot air balloon experiences, you can also find other outdoor activities at the venue.
