The KL Forest Eco Park (formerly known as the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve) is a green oasis nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, just a stone's throw away from KL Tower. Known as the green lung of the city, it's one of the oldest forest reserves in the country, and is perfect if you're looking for a morning away from the hustle and bustle of KL!
One of our favourite photo spots here is the 200-metres long canopy walk, a wood-and-steel aerial bridge that offers sweeping views of the KL skyline.

5. Thean Hou Temple
Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest and largest temples in Southeast Asia and is a place for prayers and marriage registrations. 6. Sultan Abdul Samad Building
Located across the historical Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square), the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is one of Malaysia's most significant monuments. The building is constructed entirely of brick, with graceful arches and a clock tower that looks like a mini Big Ben! It was built in 1897, designed by the same architect responsible for the equally beautiful Masjik Jamek (Jamek Mosque).
Address:Jalan Raja, City Centre, 50050 Kuala Lumpur
7. Federal Territory Mosque
Malaysia is home to a handful of stunning mosques, but the majestic Federal Territory Mosque definitely deserves a special mention! This huge mosque can house up to 17,000 worshipers at a time and its architecture was inspired by the design of many other impressive mosques in the world including the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
The mosque welcomes both Muslim and non-Muslim visitors and there are even volunteers on-site that will gladly offer you guided tours and interesting nuggets of information. Make sure you dress conservatively while visiting!
Address:Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kompleks Kerajaan, 50480 Kuala Lumpur
8. Putra Mosque
The Putra Mosque was built in 1999 and quickly became one of Putrajaya's most distinctive landmark - the pictuesque pink mosque looks oh-so-dreamy against the blue sky. Besides, the mosque is located facing the beautiful Putrajaya Lake, and looks as if it's floating on the lake when you view it from a distance! Throw on some pink robes and get ready to explore its vast beauty and intricate details.

This one's a new kid in town - the 370m Saloma Link Bridge connects Kampung Baru to KLCC, shortening the distance from 30 minutes to 10 minutes! You might have seen it while driving across the Ampang-KL Elevated Highway (AKLEH).
The bridge boasts a sirih junjung (traditional arrangement of betel leaves) design and is illuminated by colourful LED lights at night, making it look gorgeous against the night sky.

14. The LINC KL
In case you haven't heard of The LINC, it's actually a mall located in the heart of KL (walking distance from KLCC!). The mall is uniquely design and has a very different look-and-feel compared to other bustling malls in KL, it blends perfectly with nature, and many old trees are kept within its compound (with the mall structure built around it) instead of being chopped down when the mall was built. There are many photo spots around the mall - our favourites are the air space filled with 41,600 colourful paper doves and the colorful stairs!
