Reopening Of Attractions In Klang Valley
After months of closure due to the MCO, most attractions in Klang Valley including indoor playgrounds, zoos, aquariums, and more are finally allowed to reopen from 1st October 2021 onwards! If you've been looking forward to heading back out after spending so much time at home, you can finally plan a fun day out with your friends and family now.
Do note that standard operating procedures such as temperature checks, social distancing measures, and reduced visitor capacity (50% of normal capacity) are put in place and strictly enforced to ensure the safety of visitors, so make sure you have fun responsibly!

Other Fun Activities You Can Do Around KL & Selangor
1. Plan a city staycation
While the interstate travel ban is still in place, this doesn't mean you can't plan a weekend getaway with your loved ones. Based on the newly announced MCO SOPs, homestays and hotel stays within the city are now allowed for fully vaccinated individuals. For those who need a breather, we recommend planning a city staycation at one of the many hotels dotted around Klang Valley!
2. Dine out in a safe space
After months of only allowing food delivery and takeaways, dine-in is finally allowed again as we step into phase 2 of the MCO. However, with cases still on a rise, we'd recommend picking a restaurant with a spacious layout, good ventilation, and enhanced safety measures put in place if you'd like to dine out.
We've compiled a list of dining spots that are perfect whether for a long-awaited intimate dinner date with your significant other or a small gathering with your friends or family (some even offer private dining rooms for ultimate safety and comfort). Check these restaurants out:
3. Join a workshop or learn something new
Want to explore a new hobby, do something artsy, or learn a new skill this weekend? Sign up for a fun activity whether it's a sip and paint experience, a pottery class, a fishing trip, or a baking workshop!
4. Head back to the cinemas
Movie buffs are probably ecstatic to find out that cinemas are finally allowed to reopen after months of closure! Cinemas nationwide can now operate with 50% of the capacity of the screening halls and can accept fully vaccinated patrons. Make sure you adhere to the SOPs and keep your mask up at all times! Enjoy discounted rates when you book your open-dated GSC or TGV tickets on Klook.
5. Plan a day trip within Selangor
Who says you can only go on trips when the interstate travel restrictions are lifted? In case you didn't know, there are actually many day trip-worthy spots located just a short drive from the KL city centre.
If you're craving a change of scenery, fancy planning a nearby road trip with your loved ones - you can go white water rafting and camping in Kuala Kubu Bharu, get some sea breeze at Tanjung Sepat, visit the paddy fields at Sekinchan, or cruise through the Sungai Selangor in search of eagles and fireflies.
