CMCO In KL And Selangor Further Extended
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has finally addressed the nation in a press conference today (5 Dec 2020), announcing that the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will be extended for another 2 more weeks, currently scheduled to end only on 20 December 2020, just a few days before Christmas day.
States And Districts Under CMCO
The CMCO will be implemented in all districts in Selangor with the exception of Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor. The CMCO in these three districts will be lifted as per scheduled on 6 Dec 2020. It will also be lifted in several other states that are no longer categorized as red zones, including Putrajaya, Penang, Perak, and Kelantan (with the exception of certain districts and mukims in these states that are still in the red zone).

- Perak: Kinta, Mukim Teja, Mukim Changkat Jong
- Negeri Sembilan: Port Dickson, Seremban
- Johor: Kota Tinggi, Johor Bahru, Kulai, Batu Pahat
Areas under Enhanced MCO (EMCO):
- Asrama Pekerja Top Glove, Klang, Selangor
- Flat Jalan Paya Terubong, Penang
- Flat Desa Bistari, Penang
- Depot Tahanan Imigresen Langkap, Perak
- Zon A, Taman Klebang Jaya, Perak
- Taman Pinji Mewah, Perak
- Madrasah Ad-Diniah Al Falahiah, Kelantan
- Kg Dalam Huma, Kelantan
- Bukit Awang, Kelantan
- Pasir Puteh, Kelantan
- Pusat Tahanan Sementara Sibuga, Sabah
- Kampung Desa Bajau, Lahad Datu
- Kampung Dasar Baru, Lahad Datu
- Taman Telipok Ria, Tauran
- Kampung Sabah Baru, Lahad Datu
- Taman-Taman Perumahan Mukim Sungai Seluang, Kedah
- Penjara Seremban & Kuarters Penjara Seremban
Note: The Enhanced MCO (EMCO) is akin to a "total lockdown", all activities and movement (entering and exiting areas) will be ceased at these locations during the implementation of the order. Residents at these areas are not allowed to leave their homes.
Some New SOPs Announced
- Inter-district and interstate travel is no longer prohibited except in locations under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
- The two-person per car limit will no longer be enforced, cars can accommodate up to their maximum capacity now.
- Travellers to Sabah have to obtain a Covid-19 Swab Test three days before trip, and only those who test negative will be allowed entry. The CMCO in Sabah has also been extended for 14 more days till 20 Dec.
- There will be no more roadblocks from 7 Dec onwards, but social distancing measures will be more strictly enforced.
