    Indonesia entry requirements

Just like most of its Southeast Asian neighbors, Indonesia also requires incoming foreign travelers to comply with travel requirements and health protocols. Here’s all you need to present at the immigration:
    • An installed PeduliLindungi app on your phone
    • Filled out Indonesia e-HAC
    • Proof of travel insurance worth USD25,000 with COVID-19 coverage
    • Proof of hotel booking confirmation at your destination
    • Physical or digital vaccination certificate showing complete dose of COVID-19 vaccine (children aged 0-18 are exempted from this requirement)
Unvaccinated travelers with special medical conditions can still visit Indonesia, however, they must provide a doctor’s certificate from the Port Health Office at the first point of departure. The certificate must include the reason why the traveling party can’t be vaccinated.
Your vaccination certificate can be uploaded into the PeduliLindungi app. You can check out our Bali article for a step-by-step guide on how to register and use the app.

    Final steps

Once you have your Free Visa or VoA, you’ll be subjected to a body temperature check. You may also be asked to take an additional RT-PCR test if found unfit. Make sure to book a test from an affiliate laboratory so that you can view your result on the PeduliLindungi app. You must stay in your chosen accommodation until you receive a negative result on your RT-PCR test.
However, if you test positive, you must take the following steps:
