A Cosy Rooftop Restaurant Bar Nestled In The Heart Of KL
Perched on the 34th floor of the KL Trillion Tower,
Roofino Skydining is a glasshouse dining space constructed from the ground of a flat rooftop. The folks behind Roofino believe that skydining doesn't have to come with a hefty price tag: "
why burn a hole in your wallet, when the views and city lights are technically free?" We've heard so much about
Roofino and finally had the chance to check it out for ourselves recently - keep reading for a review of our dining experience!
The Space at Roofino Skydining
Roofino's spacious restaurant layout is divided into two main dining areas, both offering slightly different vibes - you can opt to be seated in one or the other depending on your preference. One side of the restaurant has dim lighting, a romantic vibe, and is flanked by a bar, while the other is drenched in warm lighting and exudes a more open, welcoming atmosphere. We heard that one is more popular amongst couples, while the other is great for dinners with friends and family.
The entire restaurant is lined with floor-to-ceiling glass walls which will make you feel as if you're dining in a glasshouse. Besides indoor seating, there are also outdoor terraces on both sides of the restaurant, offering 360-degree sprawling views of the KL city landscape, including the majestic Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit gloomy the day we visited, but we heard that you'll get to catch a glimpse of impressive mountain ranges in the distance and even the lights of Genting Highlands on a clear day!
We'd highly recommend popping by around 7PM to catch the sunset and watch the sky transform into a canvas of colours before the twinkling city lights come on after nightfall. Pick your favourite spot from the many corners of the outdoor terraces, order a drink and watch the sun go down with your date - how romantic does this sound?
Food At Roofino Skydining
We were pleasantly surprised by how extensive Roofino's menu is. From appetizers to salads, soups, and mains such as all kinds of pasta, pizza, and steaks, there's something for everyone on the menu, as well as something for every budget.
While you can order your dishes ala carte, you can also pre-order a specially-curated,
Klook-exclusive 5-course set menu. With the flexibility to choose from 4 combinations of dishes, you'll start off with something refreshing and end the night on a sweet note.
Take your pick from
2 set menus available for booking exclusively on Klook (you won't be able to find it on the menu or anywhere else!), with 4 choices of mains. We had the opportunity to taste everything from the two 5-course set menus, and especially loved the grilled lamb cutlets, pan-seared seabass, and both types of dessert!

Is It Worth It?
With the affordable price tag and stunning 360-degree city views, we'd say 100%. More than just the food, we also felt incredibly welcomed by the vibe and people at
Roofino. If you're planning a romantic date night, special celebration, or even a family dinner, consider checking Roofino out!
Besides casual dinners, it's also a very popular venue for proposals (there were two on the night we visited!), intimate birthday parties (the long table next to us was celebrating a boy's 12th birthday), and even weddings.
Getting To Roofino
Getting to
Roofino was a breeze as it's located right in the heart of KL. There's also ample parking space at the building, so you won't have to worry about parking issues. Once you've parked, find your way to the office tower lobby located on B1, and take the elevator up to the 34th floor.
