All you need to know about Skyline Luge Gamuda Gardens 🔔
1. Who can go on the Skyline Luge attraction?
All Skyline Luge combo tickets include Skyride, which means you would need to take the Skyride to experience the main attraction. For Skyride, individuals with a height of 135cm and above can ride the chairlift alone or in groups of four. However, for children with a height between 85cm and 135cm, they would need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and above with a height of 150cm and above.
As for the Luge, you need to be at least 110cm tall to ride it alone. For children with a height between 85cm and 110cm, they can ride it with an accompanying adult. Pregnant women are not allowed to ride both the Skyride or Luge for your safety!
2. Safety precautions
Before boarding the Skyride, all visitors will need to wear a helmet that can be obtained from the large helmet bins provided here. There are 5 different sizes available, including a small size for children. Make sure to pick one that fits your head comfortably!
What about bad weather conditions?
In the case of bad weather, such as thunder and lightning, operations will be temporarily suspended. The Luge and Skyride will operate as usual in light rain, but only halt operations in heavy rain for the safety of visitors.
If visitors are unable to complete a round, they can go to the counter for ticket re-verification and carry over the remaining rounds to another day, within 1 month from the visit date, so make sure to keep your Luge ticket! If you leave without re-verifying the ticket, you won't be able to use it for a return visit.
3. Taking the Skyride up
Before riding the Luge down the hill, you will need to take the Skyride, which is a 4-seater chairlift that is similar to those used for skiing in mountain resorts! While on the Skyride, you can enjoy the lush greenery of Gamuda Gardens and also watch as others race down the Luge tracks!
4. Choose from four luge tracks (up to 1.6km!)
Skyline Luge offers 4 specially designed tracks with twists, turns, tunnels, and downhill slopes that you can experience both during the day and at night! Yes, you can also ride the Luge at night, and there will be colourful lights illuminating the tracks. It's a pretty cool experience!
These 4 different tracks offer unique experiences, and you can try them all. For a warm-up, you can try the Express track, which is the shortest and suitable for those with children. Next, you can attempt the Gravity track, which is longer and has a corner turn where you can test out your drifting skills 🏎
Perhaps after riding the luge twice, you feel up for more challenging tracks? The other two tracks, Ultra and Legend, are undoubtedly more challenging and longer! Want to race against your friends or family? Go ahead, but make sure to do it safely and don't try out stunts that may endanger others on your track as well. As the saying goes — better safe than sorry 🤓

5. How to ride the luge
Feeling a little nervous before your turn to ride the luge? Well, push your worries aside, because the knowledgable staff here will thoroughly explain how to handle the luge. You can ask questions if you don't understand; they are very friendly and will do their best to clear any of your doubts!
The handles on your luge can move forward and backward. To make the luge move, you can pull the handle backwards (but make sure your hands are always straight!) and then release it slowly. The luge will then start to move, and if you want to brake, you can pull the handles backward slowly again. It will all depend on the movement of your hands, including when you want to manoeuvre your luge left and right.
