US's Famous The Cheesecake Factory Is Now Open In Sunway Pyramid Mall!

The wait is over, USA's famous The Cheesecake Factory is finally here in Malaysia! The Cheesecake Factory has officially opened its first stand-alone branch in Malaysia at Sunway Pyramid Mall, operated by Legasea Bakery, the chain's official distributor in Malaysia.

The kiosk is located at Lot LG2.96B of Sunway Pyramid Mall, next to Kyochon and will start baking goodness from 7 January 2021 onwards, according to the announcement post on Legasea Bakery's Facebook page! All flavours are available in slices at the moment, perfect for satisfying your cheesecake cravings.

The Cheesecake Factory's humble beginnings can be traced back to the 1940s in Michigan, where Evelyn Overton (who was an amazing home baker) opened a little cheesecake shop selling her freshly-baked cheesecakes. She eventually had to give up on her dream and business to raise her children, and continued baking in her basement, supplying cakes to some of the town's best restaurants.

It took more than 3 decades till her dream was made reality again, when her son opened the first The Cheesecake Factory restaurant showcasing his mother's selection of delicious cheesecakes! Today, there are more than 200 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants across the globe, and they are loved wherever they go.

Besides their legendary (and known to be heavenly) cheesecakes, typical The Cheesecake Factory restaurants have an extensive menu of other desserts and fresh dishes as well, including tacos, pastas, salads, and pancakes. However, we're obviously most excited to dig into their line of over 30 different flavours of cheesecakes. Their most popular flavours include the Oreo Dream Extreme, White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake, and Salted Caramel Cheesecake.
