Genting Winter Wonderland 2021 Is Open To All For Free This Year-End
It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas in Genting Highlands! While the brand-new Genting Skyworlds Outdoor Theme Park has yet to open its doors, Resorts World Genting has lined up a variety of festive offerings this year-end, including the setup of a dreamy Genting Winter Wonderland located at the Central Park area within Genting Skyworlds. Best part? Entry is free from 10 December - 2 January and you'll get to experience a White Christmas here!
What To Expect At Genting Winter Wonderland
1. Experience a White Christmas with daily snowfall
While White Christmas remains a far-fetched dream for most of us this year, you'll get to experience snowfall at the Genting Winter Wonderland! Explore the streets of Central Park under the accompaniment of fluttering snowflakes. Since Genting is blessed with chilly weather especially in the evenings, you can play pretend that you're strolling through the streets of Europe! Do note that each snowfall session will last for 10 minutes at specific timings, so make sure you watch the time and plan your visit accordingly.
Snowfall schedule:
- Weekdays: 6PM onwards every two hours
- Weekends: 5PM onwards every hour
2. Lots of Christmas photo spots
Put on your best sweater and get ready to take photos all over the Genting Winter Wonderland. The centrepiece of the venue is a shimmering 40ft Christmas tree topped with a six-pointed star and dressed in festive red, silver, and gold. Besides that, the entire Central Park Gardens is decorated with glimmering lights and Christmas garlands, so you won't run out of spots to strike a pose.
3. Christmas bites
If you'll be heading over with an empty stomach, fret not as you'll get to taste a variety of festive flavours here. Grab local and international delights from burgers to coffee, fish and chips, and more at the many restaurants and food stalls in the area. Can't find something of your liking? Check out other restaurants at the SkyAvenue mall - many dining establishments such as Burger & Lobster, The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden, and the High Line Rooftop Market have rolled out yummy Christmas menus!
4. Shop for Christmas gifts
Need to get gifts for your loved ones? Shop for limited edition Genting SkyWorlds souvenirs at stores in the park such as the Galaxy Store and Museum Store. Besides shopping, you can also test your skills (or luck!) at the game booths and perhaps win home something special.
5. Shows & performances throughout the day
From dancing Christmas Elves to band performances, guests can expect tons of fun at the Genting Winter Wonderland throughout the day. Be prepared to dance along to Christmas pop hits, sing along to Christmas carols, marvel at a fascinating musical show by the lake, and laugh at cheeky Christmas-themed street performers scattered all over the park.
