We had a wonderful experience renting kimonos in Kyoto during our honeymoon. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the process of selecting and fitting our kimonos with great care and attention to detail. The range of kimonos available was impressive, with beautiful fabrics and designs that allowed us to feel truly immersed in the traditional Japanese culture. The fitting process was smooth, and the staff ensured that each kimono was adjusted perfectly for comfort and style. Walking through Kyoto in our kimonos was a magical experience. The traditional attire added a special touch to our visit, making the day even more memorable. We received many compliments from locals and other tourists, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this kimono rental service to anyone visiting Kyoto. It was a highlight of our honeymoon, providing us with beautiful memories and a deeper connection to the rich cultural heritage of Japan.

Photographer Nico arrived early to wait for us at the kimono shop. He was very punctual and took us to take photos at classic scenic spots near Kiyomizudera Temple. He also taught us some actions and interactions. We took advantage of this opportunity to take a family photo. The weather was very hot, thank you to Nico, he was very professional and gave us a perfect trip.

lots of information not only about the samurai’s but about the arts. loved learning how to use the sword and the dance and loved that we got dressed the only thing that we would change is the seriousness of our instructor. he was way to serious but not bad. I was sad that we couldn’t take video of his performance.

Owner and her assistant were very lovely and polite. They allowed us to take our time to pick the yukata design that we wanted and tied up the yukata for us. They will also style your hair and accessorise. We read from the review that they allow users to return the clothing the next day so we requested the same. We left our personal belonging (not cash/wallet/hotel key) at the store and collected them on when we returned our yukata. And i love the fact that they gave an accessory to clip onto the hijab to give a complete look. 🥰🥰 Also, best to opt for yukata instead of kimono in the scorching weather 🥵

I came here for the maze rice exhibition! Although the maze rice area is not very large, the layout is very attentive and very good! Friends who like maze rice should go!
