The snow didn’t stop us from Army-ing. I really had a great time during the tour. Time well spent with co-armys. It was solo travel for me but i didn’t feel alone during the whole trip. I wanna thank Coby- our awesome tour guide who was very accommodating. He took great pictures. He also shared information not just about BTS but also korean history and culture. I wanna join this tour again and i am really looking forward for Coby to be our tour guide. Highly recommended. 😊💜💜💜💜

June emailed me the day before the tour to confirm the date/timing, the walking tour started around gangnam station to sinsa and troll through garousil street then to han river nearby apujeong station. If you like to find out more about the local social issues about gangnam from the miracle development to education to housing to lookism (plastic surgery) from a local korean guide’s perspective, this is the tour to sign up for. The tour ends with June’s optional lunch recommendation at a local restaurant in apujeong area with additional cost.

It was raining heavily that morning. The driver arranged the itinerary for us. We first went to the Gwangmyeong Cave attraction and had to take the stairs. It was recommended to wear comfortable clothes for sports games. Then we went to Jebu Island and ate seafood at the beach. Finally, the weather cleared up when we arrived at Uiwang.

I’ve joined this tour just so I could visit Moon Space and unfortunately, it would’ve been closed down by now. The tour was a seamless experience within a small group of us that fit in a mini van car and our tour guide was so warm and friendly. The drive was more than an hour but she kept us occupied by sharing information of where we were driving around and about the history of the UNESCO site. We had ample time to explore around the Gukcheongsa Temple and Namhansanseong Fortress with our guide explaining about the history and stories behind that were interesting. It was quiet, peaceful and beautiful to visit so definitely worth while.

This experience was very fun and fulfilling for me and my husband! Our guide Coby helped us get the most perfect pictures as well! He was also super considerate and made sure everyone was getting what they came for while sharing lots of great information! I highly recommend booking this tour with the guides of "seouldude". June and Jessica were both there to meet us and split us up into 2 groups since we were so many people. So this is a popular tour! We did our tour with Jessica and she did an amazing job guiding us through Gangnam. We learned lots of interesting facts about the struggles of korean youth, the importance of eduaction, money and beauty - all represented in this district. There was always time for questions and the pace and structure of the tour were just right. In the end there was an optional lunch with several dishes to try (vegetarian and vegan food available). Jessica also helped us to get to our next destination. This was a great experience!

Our tour guide Mr. Han is very kind and accommodating during the tour. He started our tour by sharing brief history about the Seoungsudong place. Then he showed us the very nice cafes and trendy shops around the area where young generations prefer to go. However, the KPop experience is not much because he only showed us the SM entertainment bldg and went inside the Kwangya store to see some Kpop groups souvenir items. Then at the last part we had a glimpse of the Seoul forest area. He assisted us going back to the subway station. Also, Mr. Han took very nice pictures for us to look back to. Overall a nice experience for first time travellers in Seoul.
