Here, you can learn about local myths and watch the traditional Takachiho Kagura dance. So why wait? Whether you plan a day trip or a longer stay, Takachiho Gorge offers a breathtaking escape into nature that you shouldn't miss on your trip to Japan!

The tour guide Helen leads carefully and the itinerary is substantial. The only drawback is that there is no time for meals, but you can buy food to eat on the bus.

The itinerary was very reasonable, and the tour guide, Miss Liu Coco, was very kind. Today we went to the place where the gods lived, and heard a lot of legends and stories. There were mountains, water, and stones, which was very satisfying. In fact, the scenery on the road was also very beautiful.

Great day trip from Fukuoka, Takachiho Gorge is a sight not to be missed. The itinerary and pace of the tour was just right. I brought two seniors along and it was manageable for them - there is a bit more walking needed to reach Takachiho Gorge but you are able to rest your legs on the bus in between when traveling to each of the locations.

I really enjoyed this tour. Our Guide Helen was amazing and provided plenty of background information on all of the locations we visited. She also gave us clear & helpful instructions on where and when to meet after each location. The tour itself provided plenty of time at each location to see and do stuff. Would happliy recomend this tour to any of my friends visiting Fukuoka who want to see things outside of the city.

The Takachiho Train is a tourist attraction worth visiting in Kyushu. It takes a long journey from Fukuoka, and it takes more time to go to Kumamoto Castle. The tour guide Xiaoyu is very patient and explains in Chinese and English, and also helps tourists solve various problems.
