One of the most enchating gardens in Japan! Lots of variety and atmosphere, great for relaxing and picnicing. The food choices are abit on the pricey side but definitely try the ice cream, it was one of the best ive had!!

Loved this experience. Directions are well sign posted for the 10 min walk to the Ropeway first station. a lot of it is uphill or upstairs so people will mobility issues might find it difficult (and don't on the way back of course!). Ropeway access is really well organized, staff were friendly and it was a rainy day so no queues for access (I'm sure it is busier when weather is good!). as others have said, rain doesn't effect how beautiful it is at the top but of course, the view isn't as amazing. I absolutely loved the Ropeway up. beautiful views in including a large waterfall, and exhilarating parts where the car moved quickly up or down. highly recommend and my highlight of Kobe. at present there is a beautiful European Christmas market at the top which was a wonderful addition!

The place was really good, having the Christmas vibes. They say it's better at night but that's just the moment we're in Japan. It was 2 hours. away from Osaka. It's worth it, it's worth it.

The cable car experience alone was cool and satisfying with the view of Kobe on the way up. Strolling around the herb gardens was also refreshing and the food and tea restaurant at the glasshouse was great!
