Things to do in Thale Waek

The driver was a little late for pick up. We got on the longtail boat, which is interesting, with loud motors. The guide is friendly and speaks a number of languages. The scuba diving depends on weather conditions. If high tide, nothing much to see when in the water. The bioluminescent is a night scuba dive and you need to move your hands in water to see. The sunset before the night dive was lovely and meal provided is decent. Would recommend.

My friends and I enjoyed our Hong Island tour with Ms. Gift as our tourguide. She took really nice pictures of us and prepared our picnic spot really well. There was ample drinks during the trip. Hong Island is really worth seeing.

The tour was a group of 20. The islands we visited was ok, snorkling on the islands was average and visibility due to heavy rain in days leading up trip. Guide was amazing, dinner and sunset was great. Bioluminescence plankton was incredible. the darker it is the better so no moon ideal and need to be prepared to swim with them as they need movement to shine.

she is really professional. and definitly if im coming to krabia again, i will participate in her class. its really worthy to spend money, time, everything.

wonderful experience! the location is beautiful, with the view of rock formation and sunset, the instructor K. Den was very attentive and she encouraged us to challenge ourselves based on our level of experience. Highly recommend! ⭐️

great experience with Fern our guide. pickup was on time, snacks (cake,bread), drinks (water, coke, lemon soda, even sparkling wine) and food (fried rice with fried chicken n egg, spring rolls, nuggets) provided tasted good and were sufficient. all in all we had a great time. the boat was clean and we were even pampered to a picnic lunch at the beach. sufficient time was provided to explore each island, you could even chose to skip some islands or spend more time on others. snorkeling was great too, masks and life vests were clean and the fishes were plentiful. I would recommend to bring water shoes for some islands and snorkeling as we got some small scrapes from the shells and corals in the water, but they had a first aid kit on board too, so no worries!

This was an amazing trip! Being a non-swimmer, I was quite hesitant and nervous at first to book an island boat tour. Finally, I booked the Hong island tour and was very lucky to have Ms Gift as my guide. She was very kind and helpful throughout the trip. As I was leaving my hotel pier’s floating platform , I slipped twice and was very nervous walking toward the boat. She noticed this and held my hand and walked me all the way to the boat. She was very observant and always making sure we were okay in the hot weather. It was little things like this that made me feel at ease. She took really nice photos and never rushed us.
