Cu Chi Tunnel tours

The tour was changed from Japanese to English the day before. The Cu Chi Tunnel was a very good tour. There was a detailed explanation of the traps at each location. I had heard on another tour that it was difficult to go all the way through the tunnel because it was narrow, so I left from the exit one step before. I wondered what would happen when I entered the second basement floor, but the guide was waiting for me near the exit, and it was a very good experience. As I walked through the narrow tunnel, thinking about what they were thinking when they made this tunnel and what they were thinking when they were inside the tunnel, tears came to my eyes. I vowed to protect peace. I did not do the optional shooting, but if you have the courage, I think it is better to experience the three options of shooting + 100m of Cu Chi Tunnel + entering the hole in the dead leaf cover. (About 5 people in a tour of 25 people were experiencing it) I applied for the Japanese tour because I wanted to see it well while studying history, but the Japanese tour was canceled the day before due to a lack of participants. I received a notification on LINE and was asked whether I wanted to join the English tour at the same price or pay the difference for a private tour. A private tour seemed quite expensive, so I arranged an English tour. Information about the meeting place for the alternative tour was slow to come, so I inquired before going to bed at night, and they immediately confirmed the alternative tour and contacted me with the meeting time and the name of the tour guide. The response to my questions and inquiries was very quick, which was very helpful. The English tour is a large group trip, and there are many other tour participants at the site, so it is necessary to remember the guide in charge and to listen and understand the precautions and meeting time in English each time. I think it is a good thing that people from all over the world go to the Cu Chi Tunnels and think about war and peace.

My Cu Chi Tunnels tour booked through Klook was exceptional. The tour was well-organized, and our guide was knowledgeable, offering fascinating insights into Vietnam’s history. Walking through the tunnels was eye-opening, showcasing the resilience of the Vietnamese people. Additionally, visits to sites like the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple enriched our understanding of the region’s history and culture.

The tour guide is enthusiastic and energetic, the explanation is clear, the guidance is efficient, and the service attitude is excellent. Relevant matters and reminders will be contacted by e-mail after ordering, which is reassuring. Hotel pick-up and drop-off must conform to a specific section, not all in the first district. The Chinese description is confusing.

very educational and fascinating trip. our tour guide was Travis–who was also helpful, friendly, and accommodating all the time! my only concern was the quality of travel, the driving made me a bit dizzy. other than that, I enjoyed everything! 😊 thank you

Our trip to Cu Chi tunnel with Felix was my second time already when I booked the first one from another travel agency. And I must say that Felix was exceptionally knowledgeable and articulate with sharing their history. I learned a lot from his tour which I had not known from my first visit there. He was thorough with his introduction and was very patient in allowing us to explore the tunnels. He was also very helpful and gladly answered our questions.

we had the most amazing tour. we had four kids with us- aged 12, 10, 8 and 5. our tour guide Dan made the trip so fun- he was so easy going and funny and shared so much history and interesting facts with us. it was a full day tour and he made the huge day interesting and engaging for us and the kids. there was SO much more included in the trip than what was on the itinerary. we are blown away by how much we did. it exceeded our expections. the food for lunch was wayyyy more than we could possibly eat and such amazing quality. we didn’t feel rushed, but we also weren’t hanging around, dragging our feet at any point. I would recommend this tour to everyone. it will not disappoint! also the bus that picked us up was on time and really comfortable- lovely aircon and the driver was excellent. they also stopped along the way and bought extra water and snacks for us.

Kudos to the travel agency and to our tour guide Kevin! even we had big group, he really took time to remember all of us, thus none will left out. The tour itself will amaze you how viet people manage to keep fighting and not surrender during the war; how they build the tunnel and how the system works. A really must tour when you go to Saigon!
