it was very easy. I bought the ticket on the day itself and went in via the C1 queue (ticket without reserved timeslot), went through security and could scan the ticket and walk right into the museum without any delay. I would definitely recommend it. Love the museum, less crowded than Louvre and a lot of amazing pieces of Renoir, Monet and Van Gogh!
