Things to do in Hillarys Boat Harbour

Awesome experience. Beautiful weather. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious vessel. We saw the rarely seen sourhern right whale up close and a few pots of humpback whales in distance.

Smiling Kangaroo Island is really great. You can see the lovely QUOKKA almost everywhere on the entire island, and it's not far away. It only takes half an hour from Frementle. If it's further from the city center, it takes an extra hour, but it's very convenient and you don't have to go far. An additional suggestion is of course that if you really don’t ride a bicycle often around the island, it is more convenient to take a bus around the island or rent an ebike on the island. After all, the island is not small. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get around the island by bus, and there are many places with very steep up and down slopes. It’s easy to lose track of.

Very fun trip! The shutter bus was very punctual and the driver was super nice! After arriving at the destination, everything went smoothly and the island was so fun! Worth it!

staffs were very friendly! although we managed to spot some dolphins at the very last minute, staffs assure us that we will be given a free ticket (only applicable for the next 12 months!)
