Buy bananas and peanuts at the pier. The inside is twice as expensive. They eat bananas too quickly and peanuts last longer. Of course, the monkeys like bananas better... but it says to throw them, but we... just gave them to them with our hands! They're so cute when they take what's in your palm. There are so many monkeys and they're so cute. The kids felt bad for the monkey show so we just left. It takes a long time to get on and off the boat because of the waiting time. The boat ride is about 15 minutes, but the boat never leaves on time. It takes more than an hour to look around, so give yourself plenty of time.

Wow, I had an amazing time with Cat Ba Panorama! As a solo traveller, I was a bit nervous, but the experience was fantastic. The highlight was definitely our guide, Dat. His energy and passion for the area were just incredible, and he made learning about the local culture and environment super interesting. It was so exciting hearing Dat talk about Cat Ba, all the little islands with stories behind them, and the marine life we came across. The day was packed with fun activities like kayaking through Lan Ha Bay and swimming. There was a delicious lunch included with different options, a bar on board with everything you could dream of, and a lovely sunset supper at the end of the ride. The staff on the boat were lovely and always made sure we were all comfortable and safe; great bartenders and crew members. There were people from all over the globe, parents with children, and solo travellers like myself - but everything is at your own pace. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Cat Ba Panorama!!!

Highly recommend this tour! We were going to do Ha Long Bay but reading how touristy and busy it is put us off. On this tour, we mostly had the waters and bay to ourselves and it was stunning. Our tour guides were great fun - Charlie and Tony 😄I’d choose Lan Ha Bay every day.
