Things to do in Wulai Old Street

Nelson was so kind and communicative. There’s a convenient WhatsApp group that is created once the group is confirmed. Gathering seven adults of different ethnicities and languages within Taipei Main station went smoothly because of the group chat! The car ride was good. I brought motion sickness meds just in case and didn’t need them. Wulai is beautiful but it is a bit of a trek so wear good shoes! Finished the Old Town about an hour before the transfer back home, and Nelson and my group amazingly all wanted to leave early, beat some traffic and get back to Taipei about half an hour earlier than planned. Great organization and trip!

There are also Starbucks coupons, which are very favorable. It is more cost-effective than buying tickets on site. It is also very convenient and fast. You don’t have to queue up to buy tickets on site. I recommend everyone to use it.

The view from the open-air bath is really nice. The facilities are clean and satisfactory. The staff is friendly and there are various items such as shampoo, body wash, towels, gowns, and body lotion. I recommend it!!

If you go early in the morning, you can take your time and enjoy the hot springs. The staff are friendly and will guide you well. If you have time, the public hot springs are good value for money. The view is good because you can see the river everywhere. If you have children, the private hot springs may be better.

I am very satisfied. It was personally the best hot spring I visited in Taiwan. You should also see the Wulai Waterfall. Make sure to reserve the shuttle bus in advance and leave your name and phone number when you make the reservation. A Korean number is okay. I am not calling you, but just confirming.

Although there is no additional massage service, just soaking in the hot spring is already very enjoyable. This hot spring house is definitely a good choice for those who want to relax for a while and enjoy some personal time. A 90-minute bath can give your body, mind and soul a full rest. Simple, comfortable and relaxing, that's why I give this bathhouse a five-star rating.
