    At the southern tip of Bali lies Uluwatu, a more off-the-beaten-path region on the island that’s quickly becoming a favorite of many who visit. It offers culture, scenic nature, fantastic eats, and everything you’d want from a sensational and much-needed holiday. 
    Uluwatu Beach isn't just ONE beach really, it's a whole stretch of some of the best beaches you can find in Indonesia. It's also known to to be a quieter area of the island as compared to the more popular spots like Kuta.
    If you’re visiting this part of Bali for the first time, here are 12 fun things to do in Uluwatu Beach to jumpstart your adventure!

    1. Enjoy jaw-dropping sunset views at Uluwatu Temple & The Kecak Fire Dance

    Visit the picturesque Uluwatu Temple, which sits on the edge of the cliff offering scenic views of the sunset. The temple is also the magnificent backdrop of the Kecak Fire Dance, one of Bali’s most famous cultural performances.

    When it comes to sunsets in Bali, Uluwatu is truly outstanding. A great spot within Uluwatu to see the breathtaking sunset is Karang Boma and Uluwatu Cliff —a seaside limestone cliff located near Uluwatu Temple. After visiting the temple, you can make a detour to the cliff right before sunset.

    Balangan Beach in Uluwatu, Bali, is one of the most stunning, picturesque beaches on the island. You can get a marvelous view of the whopping 200-meter stretch of beach on Balangan Viewpoint, accessible via a trail from the edge of the cliffs. Not only is it a great  photo-op spot, but it also offers

    Another sunset-watching treasure in Uluwatu is Pantai Tegal Wangi, which is home to dramatic cliffs and a white sand beach. You’ll also find a photogenic cave that needs to grace your IG feed!

    Paragliding is one of the best things to do in Bali if you want a dash of thrill as you take in the dazzling views. It’s also a great way to appreciate the coastline of Uluwatu. When in the area, you can try paragliding at Nyang-Nyang Beach.
    Too nervous? You can try a Bali Swing in Uluwatu instead. I mean... no Bali trip is complete without pictures on those massive Bali swings!

    Uluwatu has an array of restaurants with different offerings—from vegan (Land’s End Cafe), and Italian (La Baracca) to cafes (Suka Espresso and Bukit Cafe). Whatever you’re craving, there’s something for everyone! You can even easily grab a bite after a swim or surf at one of the beachside restos.

    It’s no secret that Bali has amazing beaches, and Uluwatu is no slouch with its stunning coastline lined with spectacular beaches. Check out Padang Padang Beach (one of the island's best surf spots), Nyang Nyang Beach (where you can go paragliding), and Thomas Beach (perfect for those who want privacy). They're all fairly nearby, so you could try to beach hop in one day if you have the energy!

    Nunggalang Beach is a hidden white-sand beach that offers a reprieve from the busier parts of Bali. It’s home to an Instagrammable piece of shipwreck covered in graffiti, perfect for photo ops where you can spread your arms out like Rose in the hit film, Titanic.
