Things to do in Darling Harbour, Convention Jetty

You can see the whole view of Sydney from the Sydney Tower Eye. Although it is the largest in Australia, it is not a very tall tower in the world, with a total length of about 300m, but since there are not many tall buildings in Sydney, you can see far into the distance. It was a beautiful view.

The cruise ship is smaller than expected, and sometimes it shakes quite loudly, but you don't have to pay extra for drinks except cocktails, so you can drink as much as you want. While waiting for your meal, you can go outside to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. You can get a panoramic view of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, which is very beautiful! If it happens to be the last Saturday of every month, you will have the opportunity to watch the fireworks at Darling Harbour after the cruise experience!

The tour was well-organized and a good way to see the Blue Mountains in one day. Our guide and driver Tom gave clear explanations and shared interesting background information about the area. We also stopped at Sydney Zoo, which was a nice experience. We could feed kangaroos and take a photo with koalas. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable day with a good mix of nature and wildlife.

Our driver/ tour guide Ray was very nice and attentive. He gave us a lot of information about Australia and the Hunter Valley along the way. We didn't have much time at the first brewery otherwise it would be nice to pay for a tasting as well. The chocolatier was heaven for all chocolate lovers. The tasting at the second brewery was alright and lunch was good with a nice view. The Long Jetty and The Entrance were breathtaking and we had the right amount of time there to enjoy the beautiful sight over a gelato. Our family had a great time!

The zoo is relatively small. If you are going to Taronga Zoo, you can skip this one and spend more time eating and walking in the Blue Mountains or small towns.

It was a super lucky day with great weather. I was able to feed the kangaroos up close and take photos with them. I was also able to take photos with koalas up close, and I even saw a smiling kangaroo! We were also lucky enough to ride all three cable cars in the Blue Mountain section, which was great fun!
