Things to do in Floating Garden Observatory

Umeda Sky Building was one of my favorite stops in Osaka. The view from the top is insane. The glass elevator and floating escalator gave me chills (in a good way). It felt like I was floating above the city. was an insanely cold day though with the crazy winds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our home cooking class in such a warm and welcoming space. There was SO MUCH FOOD -- we couldn't finish it all! I will definitely be making some of the recipes at home. I was especially proud of my rolled omelet!

Booked ticket on exact day of visit with Klook and the experience on great. instant confirmation and e-voucher for entrance. The up in the sky at 40 storeys was a unique experience with 360 degree views. Seeing the sun setting was most beautiful and even catching a shot of the moon.

Easy booking thanks to Klook. Although it’s quite a walk from the train station. Once at Umeda, head over to the 3rd floor for the actual queue. Expect long lines during peak seasons and possibly during sunset/night. Great view at the top with a cafe.

Osaka Castle is one of the largest and most intact available to tour. The interior is entirely a museum with the history of the castle and its many reconstructions. Surrounding area a large park that is beautiful in the right season (like Sakura). Definitely a castle worth visiting.

Highly recommend buying your tickets via Klook for Osaka Castle. Make sure you have a good connection if you’re buying your tickets nearby the castle—otherwise, it was very convenient and we didn’t have to queue for tickets.

The castle tower is much smaller than expected. There are many historical relics and introductions to the warriors of the Warring States period on display in the museum. Since I don't understand Japanese, I can't resonate with them. If you come to visit during the cherry blossom season just to enjoy the cherry blossoms, you don't need to buy a special ticket to enter.

Umeda Sky building and observatory was the perfect end to a rainy day in Osaka. The observatory and skydeck, although cold, allowed for a beautiful night view of the many lights of Osaka. The impressive escalator and stunning architecture of the building is breathtaking. Our Klook tickets allowed us easy access with no waiting and we ended the night with a coffee and stunning view at the cafe. A highly recommendable experience when in Osaka.
