Things to do in Toki no Kane

Since our group was relatively small, we felt like we were chartering a car, and the overall experience was good. The driver and tour guide, Ma, was friendly and explained clearly. Since the journey was quite long, we expected that we would stay at the scenic spot for a short time. On the way back, we happened to pass by the hotel where we were staying, and we were very grateful that Ma was willing to let us get off near the hotel.

The tour guide Louis can speak both Chinese and English. He tried to explain in different languages. He arrived at each location on time. However, there was a slight back-up to Karuizawa, so the ride took a long time.

The advantage of car sharing is that it is easy to arrange itineraries for small groups of people. Everyone chose to go to Hoshino Resorts on their morning trip to Karuizawa. The only drawback is that I stayed in Kawagoe for too little time and didn’t have much time to go shopping.

Our guide Mari was great and we had a wonderful time exploring Kawagoe. It was a relaxing walk around the streets and we really enjoyed all the food we tried as well.

Our stay in Karuizawa was too short. We applied to Hoshino and it turned out that we only had 2 hours. The introduction said that it was 3 hours for the outlet. The introduction and promotion content was misleading, and there was no time to soak in the hot springs. Hoshino is a small place with few restaurants and long queues. My family needs to eat, so I basically didn’t see much, which is a pity. Kawagoe is only a little over an hour. Generally speaking, if the time is appropriately extended and the time schedule is clearly stated in the promotional introduction, we will have a better budget.
