Things to do in Toki no Kane

Since our group was relatively small, we felt like we were chartering a car, and the overall experience was good. The driver and tour guide, Ma, was friendly and explained clearly. Since the journey was quite long, we expected that we would stay at the scenic spot for a short time. On the way back, we happened to pass by the hotel where we were staying, and we were very grateful that Ma was willing to let us get off near the hotel.

The tour guide Louis can speak both Chinese and English. He tried to explain in different languages. He arrived at each location on time. However, there was a slight back-up to Karuizawa, so the ride took a long time.

The tour guide is very attentive. Although the tour is combined with an English-speaking group, the tour guide will always provide Japanese life experience and little knowledge about scenic spots, so that the long drive will not be boring, and the scenic spots are also very well arranged!

The tour guide is very good and will remind us of the meeting place via WhatsApp the day before. Since there are only 11 people in the group, the itinerary is very easy to arrange. We went sightseeing directly without going to the outlet.

The advantage of car sharing is that it is easy to arrange itineraries for small groups of people. Everyone chose to go to Hoshino Resorts on their morning trip to Karuizawa. The only drawback is that I stayed in Kawagoe for too little time and didn’t have much time to go shopping.

Our guide Mari was great and we had a wonderful time exploring Kawagoe. It was a relaxing walk around the streets and we really enjoyed all the food we tried as well.

I attended with 10 Chinese guests as the only one who could only speak English. It was a bit disappointing that the autumn leaves didn't fully bloom, but I had a great trip looking forward to the next time. Aileen, the guide, is good at English and explained things step by step. After lunch, the meeting was at 13:10, but I mistakenly thought it was at 13:30, so I leisurely looked around, but when I received a KakaoTalk message from Aileen, I ran very hard and was late, so I felt a bit sorry for the others, but I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The driver was the fastest driver I've ever met in Japan... haha
