lots of information not only about the samurai’s but about the arts. loved learning how to use the sword and the dance and loved that we got dressed the only thing that we would change is the seriousness of our instructor. he was way to serious but not bad. I was sad that we couldn’t take video of his performance.

It’s a great experience. You can read unlimited comics. It’s great. I love the labyrinth rice exhibition. I took crazy pictures. It’s a comfortable and happy trip. The best in Kyoto.

I came here for the maze rice exhibition! Although the maze rice area is not very large, the layout is very attentive and very good! Friends who like maze rice should go!

Was ok. It was a self-guided tour but before we got dropped off to other destinations, we were listening to a recording about the place. The guide was also helpful in directing us to the location

We took a private tour with Katsuhiko (Katsu), and his English was impeccable. Having grown up in the area, he had incredible local knowledge and truly went above and beyond for us. We visited all the sites listed, and Katsu made the experience unforgettable. Despite us running a little late, he patiently waited and even took us to a lovely French café, Chasen, in Shimokawaracho, where we enjoyed a delicious matcha cream cheese cake. I highly recommend booking a private tour with Katsu—he’s one of the best tour guides we’ve had in Japan!

Our tour guide Mr. Yau does his job very conscientiously. He explains the history of the sights and makes sure that we all stay on schedule. Overall, the tour was entertaining and informative.
