Sun Moon Lake tours

very straightforward day trip, picked us up at hotel on time, drove safe, comfortable car to sleep in, tried to upsell "chartered boat" at SML but when turned down by everyone he still kept his smile and professionalism. timing was perfect and not rushed.

I like riding the bike and I like eating I like going on the tour and I like going to the lake and I like having a group photo. Cipher is an amazing tour guide and we learned so much today about history. We were well taken care of by Cipher as well.

I traveled with my wife. We had a great experience here. The lake is very clear where we took a boat to 3 places around the lake. Then we had a very delicious local food lunch, I loved it. The most special thing about the trip was that we had 2 hours to cycle around the lake, it was the best experience of the trip. Besides, I have to praise our tour guide, Mr. Apple. He helped us take pictures, told us stories about the places to visit. He took us to the night market and did not forget to introduce us to the attractions as well as the toilets near the night market. We appreciate him very much, Mr. Apple

Paid about aud70 pp (aud60pp for tour and aud10pp for the boat ride) which included transportation and hotel pick-up and drop-off. Lunch, snacks and bicycle hire not included. We opted to hire electric bikes (at TWD500 pp instead of TWD400 for traditional bikes) which made the cycle so much more enjoyable. 😉 Picked up by Mercedes Benz 8-seater vans. Our tour started at 8:30am; with a charter boat ride (paid extra TWD100pp for this) around Sun Moon Lake, followed by a cycling route around parts of the lake (CNN voted this as one of the most scenic bicycle trail in the world), followed by a visit to Wen Wu Temple overlooking Sun Moon Lake, then sunset at GaoMei Wetlands. The trip ended at around 8pm by the time everyone in the tour were sent back to their respective hotels. Highly recommended. Get the 東東刈包 (TWD60) from Sun Moon Lake’s Ita Thao Pier : braised meat with beancurd buns. Our tour guide Cooky was so helpful with photographs and such a kind person: she gave a lone traveller who had missed the last bus at GaoMei Wetlands a lift back to Taichung as well since we had additional seats in the car.

our guide, Ah Ling brought us around the sun moon lake and describe to us the history of the place and how it was developed over time. Sun moon lake is truly a nice and relaxing place to go and i will go back there again.

Overall a smooth experience. easy and cost effective way to travel to cultural village (especially for 2 pax). The guide is helpful and fluent in English and Chinese. The village is huge and crowded. many rides to play and a few cherry blossoms left.

Our guide Nicholas is absolutely amazing. No awkward silences no dull moments. Very knowledgeable. He was able to provide such a chill tour that doesn't drain you. Highly recommend.

It's a great experience. Dashun Yacht can basically take a tourist bus, and there is still a lot of space. On that day, Captain Lai introduced the history of various points of Sun Moon Lake while visiting the lake. He was very professional. But what amazed us was that Captain Lai deliberately drove to a less windy spot by the lake to stop, and used his drone to take pictures and videos, helping us all leave unforgettable memories. In fact, the whole trip has lasted more than two hours, but Captain Lai's service enthusiasm remains undiminished. After that, the members of our group were very satisfied with this tour.
