Puffing Billy Steam Train tours

Our driver and guide was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of insights about Melbourne. The Puffing Billy Railway was a true highlight, offering breathtaking views as we rode through lush forests. Another leisure and chill road trip at Melbourne. The experience ride on puffing billy was great and amazing. Healesville Santuary was good but not encouraging to come during winter due to all animal seems like hide up in hole for “hibernate”. The bird show was great and amazing. The only thing is tour guide not telling much information regarding to this trip and only keeps playing TS songs for whole trip. Well, the trip overall still not bad.

We had a fantastic time on our recent tour of Philip Island and Puffing Billy! The entire experience was excellent value for money, and we truly enjoyed every moment. A special thanks to Paul, our guide, who was informative, adding to the overall experience. One thing to keep in mind is the timing before the Penguin Parade. We encountered long lines and service delays at the restaurant, so plan accordingly to ensure you don’t miss the show. Overall, this tour was a wonderful adventure, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore these beautiful locations!

The tour guide Ken arranged very thoughtfully... Being able to see the penguins this time also added points to the trip... It's just that the bus is older but it's safe and comfortable!

It was an enjoyable trip to Phillip Island! We didn't expect such a great photo shooting spot in Brighton bathing boxes. The Moonlit Sanctuary was also out of our expectations with the kangaroos so gentle for feeding. And of course, the highlight of Phillip Island was amazing with all those cute cute penguins all the way back home. This trip was really worth to join.

itinerary was great. but I guess there were too many of us in the same day? we didn’t manage to squeeze all of us into one cabin in puffing Billy and two of them actually had no whr to sit. for us, we did not get the best side to sit at hence missed out on the most iconic scene. but overall everything was covered with decent amount of time at each location. tour guide was also super friendly! he literally did everything on his own but he was rly good!

The Puffing Billy train was so fun and interesting! We watched the penguins going back home and it was so cute! Ms Margaret was so enthusiastic to her job and explained and showed everything along the way! it was truly an amazing trip!

A great selection of things to do, see and try. Rick was incredibly friendly and knew all of us as the day went on. The vineyards we visited we're very good with big selections to try but not overcrowded. And omg lunch at stop #2 waw FANTASTIC. THE beef literally was fork tender. The gin tasting was interesting as I've never had gin infused with wine (grapes). Chocolate tasting was abundant and had a huge variety. The cheese shop was ok. He also was very informative and tried to make sure we saw 'roos on the way back to Melbourne. By the end of the trip we also had good conversations with everyone on the bus.
