Hotels near Pontocho

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed my stay there. Location is very good for activities, eating out and getting from one place to another. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet had also a nice variation of things. Everything was clean and in my opinion there was a lot of space — the room didn’t feel as cramped as one might expect. All in all, I think this place is very nice and I wouldn’t mind staying here again next time I happen to travel to Kyoto. Only downside that I can think of is that the walls are quite thin, so I could hear people coming and going, but it didn’t bother me too much.

Accomodation is very affordable and it is close to establishments such as retaurants, shops, movie theatre.

This is a perfect central location. My previous hotels in Japan were similar to this, basic enough but this hotel has extra comfort and an extra 2m/2 than the other basic room so it definitely made our stay better!

The bathroom on the basement floor is equipped with all the amenities you need. If you go when there are no people, it is a great place to relieve fatigue. The accommodation itself is relatively large for Japan, so you can rest comfortably. I recommend it!!!!

For 4 people. It's really cramped. It can only hold a 20-inch carrier. However, the location is great. A taxi for 4 people from Kyoto Station costs 1,500 yen. There is a sushi restaurant nearby called Shinshindo.
