Tengu Mountain is very beautiful. I bought the Tengu Mountain Cable Car package with Klook. It is convenient to exchange and I don't have to queue up to buy tickets. There is also a 10% discount coupon for eating at the restaurant.

The cable car runs every 12 minutes, so you don't have to wait too long. The view from the mountain is very beautiful, and I saw people taking wedding photos👰♀️

I bought it just before I used it, and it was very smooth. However, I bought 4 tickets this time, and I had to show the QR code to the receptionist at the venue one by one, so I thought it would be better if I could select the number of tickets for the number of people at once.

Buying round-trip cable car tickets from Klook first can save you time waiting in line. The scenery of Tengu Mountain is really beautiful and worth it, but it is recommended to prepare crampons in winter because the snow is really slippery.

One of the three major night views in Hokkaido. No need to queue during the day. The mountain is very slippery. Be careful to protect yourself. The scenery is unbeatable.

The redeeming process for the ropeway was super easy—just exchange your ticket at the counter. It's definitely one of the must-visit spots in Otaru, Hokkaido! You can board the bus at the terminal in front of Otaru Train Station, Platform 4, and the good news is you can use your Suica card to pay, or use coins.
The 4-minute ropeway ride up Mount Tengu is a highlight. As you ascend the 532.4-meter-high mountain, you’re treated to nostalgic views of Otaru. At the top, the panoramic views are simply breathtaking, with a stunning view of Otaru Port, Ishikari Bay, and, on clear days, the Shakotan Peninsula and the Shokkanbetsu mountain range. It's just a 15-minute drive from the city center, making it a perfect, quick escape for incredible vistas. Highly recommend it!"
