Look out for the "Certified Sustainable Partner" badge on Klook!

We know that we have the power to influence tourism for good. That is why we have introduced our "Certified Sustainable Partner" badge as a way to highlight operators who are making strides in the journey towards creating a positive social or environmental impact.

Our "Certified Sustainable Partner" activities are offered by (i) a merchant that has successfully received certification from a certification body that is accredited by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), or follows internationally-recognised sustainability standards, or (ii) registered charities.

These activities are more likely to have a positive impact on the environment or support local communities or cultures. This badge will give travellers the option to make more people- and planet-friendly choices when booking their travel experiences on Klook. Please refer to our list of third party certifications that we accept.

What is the GSTC?

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) manages the GSTC Criteria, the global standards for sustainable travel and tourism. GSTC also acts as an international body providing assurance for sustainable tourism certification in three key sub-sectors of tourism: hotels and accommodations, tour operators and agencies, and destinations.
