It’s been two years since full suitcases, passport stamps, and waiting around baggage claim. Two years since we’ve comfortably flown on an airplane to our dream destinations for some much-needed travel time. Be that as it may, the Philippines today (and the rest of the world) is slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with this pandemic. While we know the COVID-19 virus is here to stay, it’s comforting to know that through countless vaccinations and booster shots, we’re managing and continuously living life.
And what better way to live life today than dusting our suitcases and luggage and finally jet setting off to our dream destinations. We happily give our rundown of 10 countries that are accepting Philippine passport holders and are fully vaccinated.
Note: Waiving the quarantine period be subject to change as it is contingent on the testing and/or vaccination status and background of the traveler.
1. The Maldives
Beautiful turquoise lagoons, pristine, sand, and artistic villas on stilts? Yes, the Maldives is opening its doors to Filipino travelers. Vaccinated visitors no longer need to undergo quarantine as long as they can present their vaccination card, a medical certificate, and a negative RT-PCR test result (taken 96 hours prior to flight). All inbound travelers also need to complete a Traveller Health Declaration before their flight departure.

2. Brazil

This tropical paradise is not too far from the Philippines in terms of their golden beaches, colonial architecture, religious grounds, and glorious energy from their locals. 3. Switzerland
If you’re eyeing a completely different scenery, the Swiss Alps might tickle your fancy. Travelers are only required to present a negative RT-PCR test (72 hours before flight) and their vaccination card or certificate. All guests are also asked to complete an entry form before entering the country.

4. Turks and Caicos
Known for its exclusivity and breathtaking beach views, Turks and Caicos is every celebrity’s dream vacation spot. Visitors can expect untouched natural beauty from crystal clear seas, pure white sand, and an array of gorgeous villas you can call home. All travelers just need a negative RT-PCR test result (taken 72 hours before flight), a Travel Authorization Form, travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage.

5. Spain
The country of Spain is a living, breathing, beautiful reminder of rich Spanish culture and history. Around ever corner is a beautiful site and monument beloved by their passionate locals. Must-visits include the Cordoba Roman Bridge, Sagrada Familia, Alhambra, Seville Cathedral, and more. 6. Turkey
If you are looking for a true visual masterpiece, Turkey’s Cappadocia should be on your consideration set. Cozy, romantic, and magical, this country is a feast for the eyes and soul of all travelers. Quarantine is not required to enter Turkey as long as you have your vaccination card and certificate ready.
While traveling, explore the Galata hillside and see the relics left over from the Byzantine Empire while on a Galata and Genoese Afternoon Walking Tour in Instanbul. 7. The Bahamas

8. The United Kingdom
Have you been itching to visit England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland? Traveling to the United Kingdom should be on your 2022 travel bucket list.
