Step-by-step guide to buy Universal Studios Japan tickets from Klook
As of 10 January 2019, Universal Studios Japan has implemented high, middle and low pricing tier tickets based on the peak and off-peak seasons. If you’re not sure which ticket you need to purchase, simply follow this easy-to-follow guide to help you navigate through the booking process!
Step 1: Go to the Universal Studios Japan™ 1 Day E-Ticket product page on Klook
You can use the search bar on the Klook website or mobile app. Alternatively, you can find the Universal Studios Japan product page by going to East Asia > Japan > Osaka.

Step 2: Check the calendar for the date you’re visiting

Which Universal Studios Japan ticket category to buy?
Look for the date you’re visiting the theme park to determine which ticket category you need to purchase. For example, if you’re planning to visit on 31 July 2019, the calendar indicates ‘B’, hence you need to purchase ’Universal Studios Japan 1 Day Ticket – Ticket B’ to enter the park on that day.
Since the Universal Studios Japan tickets on Klook are open-dated, you may choose to visit the theme park another day within 6 months from the chosen participation date on the condition that it falls under the same ticket category.
Using the same example again, if you can’t visit on 31 July 2019, you can visit anytime up till 31 January 2020 with the ticket category ‘B’ classification.

Step 3: Select your ticket & add to cart
Now that you’ve already determined which ticket you need to purchase, select your ticket category, intended date of visit, and desired quantity then add to cart.
Step 4: Apply promo code / Redeem Klook credits (if applicable)

If you’ve gotten your hands on a promo code, remember to key in the code at this stage.
In the payment page, click on ‘Promo Code’ and select the code you want to use or type in your code and click on ‘Redeem’. Upon successful application, the total should reflect the discounted amount.

Klook Credits
If you have Klook credits that you wish to redeem, you can also do so at this stage. Klook credits can be used together with a promo code!
Step 5: Make payment
Proceed to make your payment once you’re satisfied with your list of items in the cart. There are several payment methods you can opt for namely via credit/debit card, PayPal, and more.

Step 6: Enter Universal Studios Japan directly with your Klook e-ticket!

Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with your order summary (this is not the same as booking confirmation). Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email together with your voucher(s).
You can use the Klook e-ticket to enter Universal Studios Japan directly. That means skipping the queues and having more time to explore the exciting theme park!
Common FAQs
Q: What if I can’t visit Universal Studios Japan on the date I chose?
A: You can visit the theme park on another day because the Universal Studios Japan™ 1 Day E-Ticket from Klook is valid for 6 months from the chosen participation date upon booking. You can choose to visit the park on days with the same price tier as your chosen package within that validity period. Simply refer to the price calendar for reference.
Q: I don’t know which ticket category to purchase because the date I want to visit isn’t in the calendar.
A: If the dates that you’re planning to visit aren’t released yet, you can check back again another time. The Universal Studios Japan price calendar will be updated on the first day of every month.
Q: If I buy the most expensive ticket can I use it on any day?
A: You may choose to visit the park only on days with the same price tier as your chosen package. So, even if you have the most expensive ticket (Ticket C,) you still cannot visit the park on days under ‘A’ or ‘B’ price tiers.
