One of the famous buko pies in Tagaytay, you must’ve heard of the name or seen them as you pass by the streets going to Tagaytay. But there’s a good reason why they’ve made a name for themselves in the local food scene. Originally founded by a couple back in 1989 in San Pablo, Laguna, they thought of making good quality buko pies for Manila-bound travelers. Today, they withstood the test of time and now have over 20 branches nationwide. Yes, that’s how good the product is.
Their renowned buko pie is made with a sweet and creamy filling with fresh buko pie and crust. They also sell other pastries and in-house specialties such as buko tarts, espasol de Laguna, cassava cakes, and yema cakes to name a few.

7. Platefuly
Another shop that’s entering the buko pie food scene in Tagaytay is Platefuly. It is a newly-opened business venture by siblings Luisito and Liliane Barcelon. Even though they’ve been in the business for two years now, they already earned loyal customers because of their tasty buko pie. What differentiates them from the other buko pie brands is the variety and twist. Aside from the classic one, their freshly-baked buko pie comes in two versions: pandan and ube. Platefuly is also known for its homemade hand pies, leche pie, and pineapple pie.

8. Samira by Chele Gonzalez
If you want to take your buko pie experience up a notch, you can always visit Anya Resort’s in-house restaurant. Their rebranded restaurant is now called Samira by Chele Gonzalez. Spearheaded by acclaimed chef Chele Gonzalez, who also has a top-ranking restaurant in Taguig, they’ve made buko pie elevated. Chef Chele reimagined the classic buko pie into a deconstructed one.
