    Level up your barkada E-numan with these simple cocktail recipes!

    With enhanced quarantine in place for most cities in the Philippines due to coronavirus, we are asked to practice social distancing and stay home as much as it is possible. Although our day-to-day routines and social gatherings are experiencing a momentary pause, this doesn’t mean so should our relationships. 
    Thanks to the wonders of technology, we can stay connected with our friends and family through video chat and messaging apps. If you haven’t already invited your friends for an E-numan session online, now’s that time to do so - and here are some easy cocktails you can enjoy and share with your friends for all your E-numan sessions!
    REMINDER: Drink responsibly!

    1. Mimosas (Paris, France)

    Ingredients: 
    • Sparkling wine
    • Orange juice
    • Vodka or whiskey (Optional)
    Steps:
    1. Mix equal parts of sparkling wine and orange juice 
    2. For an extra kick, add a splash of vodka or whiskey 
    3. Serve chilled

    2. Tequila Sunrise (Sausalito, California)

    Ingredients: 
    • Tequila
    • Orange juice
    • Grenadine syrup
    Steps:
    1. Pour 1 cup orange juice and ½ cup tequila into a glass of ice
    2. Finish it off with 2 tbsp of grenadine syrup. Witness the red syrup sink to the bottom of the glass 
    3. No stirring needed

    3. Sangria (Spain)

    Ingredients: 
    • Red wine
    • Sprite
    • Fruit slices (orange, apple, pineapple -- any or all is fine)
    Steps:
    1. Put 1 bottle of chilled red wine in a pitcher or bowl
    2. Drop in your fruit slices and let it steep in the refrigerator for two hours to overnight for taste
    3. Top it off with Sprite and ice just before serving

    4. Pina Colada (Puerto Rico)

    Ingredients: 
    • Frozen pineapple chunks 
    • Rum 
    • Coconut milk 
    • Fresh pineapple slice (Optional)
    Steps:
    1. Combine 3 cups of frozen pineapple chunks, ⅓ cup of rum, and ⅔ cup of coconut milk in a blender and puree until smooth. 
    2. Feel free to add water if the mixture is too thick. 
    3. Top it off with a slice of fresh pineapple and enjoy!  

    5. Soju Yogurt Cocktail (South Korea)

    Ingredients: 
    • Soju (any flavor)
    • Sprite
    • Yakult 
    Steps:
    1. Mix equal parts of soju, yakult, and Sprite
    2. Pour over ice and enjoy! 

    6. White Russian (Brussels, Belgium)

    Ingredients: 
    • Kahlua
    • Vodka
    • All-purpose Cream
    Steps:
    1. Add ¼ cup vodka then ¼ cup Kahlua into a glass of ice
    2. Pour over ¼ cup cream on top. 
    3. Gently stir until blended and enjoy!

    7. Gin and Tonic (India)

    Ingredients: 
    • Gin
    • Tonic water
    • Lime 
    Steps:
    1. Mix gin and tonic water (amount to preference), 
    2. Add in your ice
    3. Drop in a wedge of lime. Enjoy! 

    8. Moscow Mule (New York)

    Ingredients: 
    • Ginger beer
    • Vodka
    • Lime juice
    Steps:
    1. Mix ½ cup of ginger beer, ¼ cup of vodka
    2. Add 2 tbsp of lime juice.
    3. Pour over ice and enjoy! 
    Optional: Use a copper mug for the full moscow mule experience    

    9. Margarita (Mexico)

    Ingredients: 
    • Tequila
    • Lime juice
    • Honey 
    • Lime slice and salt (Optional)
    Steps:
    1. Combine ¼ cup of tequila, 2 tablespoons lime juice,1 tablespoon of honey and ice in a blender
    2. Blend under smooth and set aside
    3. Get your glass and wet the rim with lime juice and dip into salt
    4. Pour your margarita mixture into the glass and garnish with a slice of lime

     10. Gin Pom (Philippines)

    Ingredients: 
    • Pomelo juice powder
    • Gin “bilog”
    • Water
    Steps:
    1. Mix 1 sachet of powdered pomelo juice with 1 Litre of cold water until powder has dissolved
    2. Combine 1 bottle of Gin “Bilog”
    3. Pour over ice and mix to enjoy
