This is one house we wouldn’t want to quarantine in

Bored at home? Well here’s one way to perk up your quarantine woes. Fans of horror film The Conjuring are in for a treat. From May 9 to 16, a group of filmmakers and paranormal researchers from The Dark Zone will be hosting a 24/7 live-stream inside the actual Conjuring house located in Rhode Island, USA. If that doesn’t send chills up your spine, then you should definitely get on this live-stream.

You might get a glimpse of Bathsheba

Don’t say we didn’t warn you! Here’s what to expect:
The Dark Zone, together with the Heinzens, the current residents of the home, have rigged the house with cameras to capture a complete and immersive experience for viewers. The Heinzens, who are paranormal investigators themselves, still report paranormal instances from time to time such as footsteps and flickering of lights in rooms with no lights to begin with.
Throughout the week-long livestream, The Heinzens will be conducting paranormal investigations, seances, and Ouija board sessions. Well-known luminaries from paranormal communities are also said to make virtual appearances throughout the week to share anecdotes from their experiences in the house. One of these will be Andrea Perron, a member of the family who experienced the events that inspired the film.
On May 8, 8:00 PM (EST), viewers can get a free preview of what to expect on The Dark Zone’s website, live from the Conjuring house.

    But, what’s the catch?

For fans who are at the edge of their seats, this live-stream will cost you. For a 24-hour viewing, it’ll cost $4.99 (Php 253) and for a 24/7 livestream (from May 9 to May 16), it’ll be $19.99 (Php 1011). Sure, there’s a possibility that absolutely nothing will happen, but that’s what makes it exciting!
However, if you do decide to purchase for what may be the fright of a lifetime, The Dark Zone announced that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to COVID-related charities (World Central Kitchen, Gary Sinise Foundation and GlobalGiving).

    To refresh your memory

The Conjuring (2013) is based on true events surrounding the Perron family, who moved into the home in the 1970’s. Shortly after moving into the home, they started experiencing supernatural phenomena and called to demonologists, Ed and Lorraine, to rid off the evil residing in the house.
