Filipinos are one step closer to Morocco
Good news, globetrotters! One of the world’s most Instagrammable destinations will soon have direct flights to and from Manila – and if you’re a sucker for anything and everything IG-worthy like we are, you’re sure to be pretty excited with this news!
Famed for its alluring ancient cities, beautiful mountain ranges, and picturesque deserts such as the world-renowned Sahara, it isn’t a surprise that Morocco is on everybody’s bucket list! Luckily for us Filipinos, it looks like flying to this visa-free country will soon be much easier.
Thanks to an agreement between the Philippines’ Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Kingdom of Morocco, direct flights between the two countries will soon be available as per an Air Services Agreement (ASA) that has recently been negotiated. This grants cargo and passengers full traffic rights, as well as paves the way for daily flights between the two nations.
