Have a CRAB-tivating time in Singapore
As foodies, one of the first thing we think of when we come across Singapore is – Chili Crab! Prepare to sink your teeth into the juiciest crabs in the market and prepare to get your hands dirty in Dancing Crab Singapore. You also don’t have to worry if only one of you is into spicy food because Dancing Crab has a bunch of other choices in their menu. You can enjoy a variety of seafood all in one order or rather – all in one bag with their “Seafood Combo Bag” or you could try others like Black Pepper Crab, and even Alaskan Crab Legs! You can choose from three branches too, whichever is the most convenient.
Klook Tip: If you’re the type who’s used to tipping at restaurants, tipping isn’t discouraged in Singapore but it also isn’t customary so give only what you’re comfortable with.
Experience Michelin starred Kaiseki in Ginza
If you haven’t heard of Kaiseki yet, we’ll fill you in! It’s a special type of traditional Japanese meal that’s multi-course and is served with extra care. It’s said that Kaiseki consists of three elements: simple seasoning, seasonal ingredients, and presentation. You can experience Kaiseki in Ginza Ibuki, it’s a Michelin starred restaurant that you can find in – well, Ginza! As they serve each dish, they’ll explain more about it like why a specific ingredient was chosen, where it was sourced, and the like. When heading out to Ginza Ibuki, if you feel as if you’re off the beaten path… then you’re in the right place! Prepare to walk a bit farther from the busier part of Ginza.
Klook Tips for your Kaiseki experience:
1. While it might be tempting, use the provided small wet towels only for your hands and not the table! Using these towels for other purposes can be considered rude.
2. Use this chance to wear your dressier clothes! Kaiseki is usually reserved for special occasions, so dress for one. Try to avoid too casual outfits like t-shirts and jeans.
3. You can pick up the bowl! It’s considered polite when you pick them up or any dish that’s served in a bowl while you have some bites. If it’s too heavy, it’s also all right to leave them on the table.
Klook Tip: In case you didn’t know yet, tipping in Japan isn’t practiced. If you try, they will most likely think you left money by accident!
Check out Seoul’s nightlife with a pub crawl!
Apart from K-Pop and mouthwatering street food, Seoul is also known for their vibrant nightlife. If you and your partner enjoy partying, drinks, and the bar scene – there’s a Seoul Pub Crawl you two could join that will give VIP access and discounts to a number of bars and a club! It can be a bit intimidating to navigate through the party scene when you’re new to the area, which is why people join the Seoul Pub Crawl – the experience gives them instant access to bars and joiners also have an English-speaking guide to help them learn more about the place and meet new people!
Klook Tip: Be careful not to tip your waiters or bartenders because it can even come off as rude.
Go for mango (shaved ice) in the famous Smoothie House in Taipei
When we talk about food, it would be impossible not to bring up Taiwan – the street food haven! You’ve heard of bubble tea – now treat yourselves to the famous Mango Snowflake Ice! Add Smoothie House at Dongmen Station to your itinerary and try out their super yummy shaved ice desserts. If it’s your first time to try shaved ice, then Taipei will exponentially raise the bar.
Klook Tip: Expect huge servings that can fill up to three people!
Klook Tip: Tips are highly unexpected in Taiwan especially in areas where there aren’t many tourists, so don’t be pressured to tip unless it’s for the bellhop at your hotel.

Enjoy authentic Cantonese food and dim sum in Hong Kong
Dim sum will always be our go-to classic – steamed, baked, or fried goodness that we just can’t get enough of! It’s the type of dish that you can easily lose track of how many you’ve eaten, apart from being so packed with flavor – how it’s presented almost always throws us off, it’s more filling than it looks! When in Hong Kong, you can enjoy traditional dim sum at Ding Dim 1968 in Central, they even have vegetarian options!
Klook Tip: For tipping in restaurants, most of them will have a 10% service charge onto your bill. You can also tip the staff if you really want to and to make sure it goes directly to them, cash is your best option.
