South Korea Visa Requirements for Filipino passport holders
    1. Visa Application Form: Buckle up for a quick online typing session. Fill out the South Korean visa application form electronically using a clear and easy-to-read Arial font size 12. Once complete, print it on a standard A4-sized paper.
    2. Passport Photo: Time to get snapping! Prepare one recent passport-sized photo (35mm x 45mm) that captures your full face clearly. The photo shouldn't be older than six months. Make sure to paste it securely on the designated spot on the first page of your printed application form.
    3. Passport Documents: Provide a clear photocopy of your passport's biodata page, the one with all your important information. Don't forget to include photocopies of any valid visas or entry stamps you hold from OECD countries you've visited in the past five years, if applicable.
    4. Original Employment Certificate: Employed individuals need to submit the original employment certificate issued by their current employer. This document should clearly state your current position, your start date, your salary, and your company's contact details, including address and phone number (landline is preferred).
Business owners, take note: there might be additional requirements for you, so check with the Korean embassy or consulate for specifics.
    5. Financial Requirements: Time to prove your financial stability. The embassy will ask for original bank certificates that detail your account type, current balance, account opening date, and your average daily balance. Additionally, provide photocopies of your bank statements covering the last three months.
    6. Tax Documents: Demonstrate your financial responsibility by submitting photocopies of your BIR 2316 or Income Tax Returns as proof that you've been paying your taxes.
    7. Business Registration: Business owners in the Philippines will need to provide a photocopy of their Business Registration issued by either the SEC or DTI.
    Important Note:
Remember the new Privacy Consent Form? Make sure to download the latest version from the official Korea Visa Application Center website. Fill it out accurately and completely, sign it to confirm your consent, and include it with your visa application documents. A missing or unsigned form could cause delays or even rejection of your application.
By following these steps and ensuring all your documents are complete and up-to-date, you'll be well on your way to exploring the wonders of South Korea!
